Nancy Drew: The Haunting of Castle Malloy

My family has been playing this series from the beginning and playing the Senior Detective version of The Haunting of Castle Malloy has got to be one of the best challenges yet! The graphics were excellent and the puzzles were entertaining and fun. We especially liked the new form of transportation that was introduced for this game. While the plot was not as developed as in previous games, this was compensated for by the wide variety of scenes and locales. From ghosts to astronomy and Celtic folklore, this game provides lots of interest beyond the central mystery. Looking forward to the next one!

I haven't been too impressed with the latest Nancy Drew games Herinteractive has been coming out with but, forever the optomist, I decided to give this one a try...I wish I hadn't wasted my time.
I found this game frustratingly difficult and wouldn't have been able to get through it without a walkthrough which defeats the purpose of even playing a game like this.
The plot was lacking and left me very uninterested in the game, The characters were underdeveloped and somewhat boring and the puzzles were utterly frustrating.
There were some mini games that were alright but nothing to write home about.
Probably the only thing I liked about this game were the graphics but that is to be expected being the most recent game and all.
After playing this game I find it doubtfull that I will purchase any further Nancy Drew games yet to be released. I will stick to the early games that left you wanting more.
