I bought this product with the monster label. Well, it lasted abot 3 months and then just quit working. I threw it away forgetting I bought it from amazon. Buy less expensive with higher joules.

works great, i actually accidentally bought this model instead of the tv version to clear up ground looping we were having at a new apt. this model still worked and does the whole clean power thing and now we are not losing our minds looking at purple lines all over our tv.

Great Product2009-05-11
Really does a great job of organizing all of your wires. Very high quality and compared to Best Buy prices a deal.
Seems well worth the price2009-04-15
I've used Monster products going back to their early cables. Whether or not they are better than other brands has to be taken on faith. What I mean by that is that there's no way for the average buyer to check whether they are actually better.

One thing that I can say is that this thing is built. It's not to be confused with a $9.99 power strip from Staples. It may be plastic, but it's heavy plastic.

I particularly commend Monster on their including three outlets that will handle "wall wart" power supplies. On many strips, these things eat up two or more outlets rendering the strip much less useful.

So, is it a good product? I'd have to say yes based on build quality and erogonomics. Whether it will protect your system better than other quality brands is something you need to judge based on the manufacturer's reputation.

Audio & Video Connections Guide
" For a list of all the ways technology has failed to improve the quality of life, please press three." - Alice Kahn This quote is certainly applicable to consumer electronics. From the very first commercially produced radios to the latest in high-definition television technology, the manner in which the components used to deliver our news, music, movies and entertainment are interconnected seems to have escaped logic. For both the newcomer and the old hand alike, connecting equipment in the most efficient and effective manner can be a painful chore. It is hoped this article will improve your background knowledge concerning potential A/V system connection schemes and where each is most appropriate. The next time you find yourself in a "connectivity quandary" perhaps the ideas shared here will help you to quickly solve the riddle of which wire goes where and why! Printer Buying Guide
What kind of printer is best for me? Choosing the right printer can be a daunting task. There are several different types of printing technology to choose from, each suited for different needs. Printers come in all shapes and sizes, from tiny travel companions to workgroup workhorses; some are geared toward photographers, others are for multitaskers. And the many specifications for resolution and speed can be misleading. As a rule of thumb, inkjet printers are a must for long-lasting photos, while laser printers are best to produce speedy text documents. The device must tackle everything from a book report to a newsletter to the occasional snapshot--all without breaking the budget. This is why for most home users, the best choice is a versatile and affordable printer, such as a small-office/home-office color ...
