Great Card
2002-08-18I got this card free when I purchased the Kodak DX4900 - no problems at all.

good device, but too small
2002-04-27I got the unit free when I bougth my Ipaq through Amazon.
Unit is very functional but I upgraded to 128MB very shortly after I was using my IPAQ. 32 MB is too small. If you are buying, consider a larger CF to start with.

Works Great!
2002-03-27This card does all of what the makers say, exactly, every time. This product is flawless and high quality.

CompactFlash is cool...
2002-01-02Not much to review... if 32mb is all you need then this is the card for you.

Great Product
2001-10-10I purchased this CF card for my Ipaq and it has increased its functionality two fold. The card slips in the Ipaq's expansion jacket nicely (no overhang) and is a great place to backup your PDA's information and store MP3's. Viking makes quality products and Amazon has it priced very competitively.

Driving with a cell phone is a lot less dangerous than driving on prescription drugs
There's a lot of debate today about the safety of using cell phones while driving. Statistics show that those who use cell phones while driving cause a much greater percentage of accidents than those who avoid using their cell phones. And the studies have shown that it's not just the physical coordination required to punch numbers into the cell phone while you're trying to work the vehicle that causes accidents; it's actually the lack of attention resulting from driving and talking on the cell phone at the same time. It seems that when you're distracted, you're more likely to cause accidents.
In terms of public safety, it's probably correct to say that banning cell phones would reduce the number of traffic accidents. But I think, more accurately, it depends on the person. Some people are operating on, shall we say, lower power CPUs in their heads to begin with. They might be zoned out on prescription drugs, and when you add a cell phone to the equation, they do become a danger to the ...
Core 2 Duo Scaling
Laptop Scaling
Intel's Core 2 Duo is easily the best mobile processor on the market today, boasting sky-high performance and low power consumption. But which CPU is for you: the super expensive T7600, the bargain-priced T5500, or something in between?
This article will first take a look at the various versions of Core 2 Duo that Intel has to offer. We will compare Core 2 Duo clocked at four speed grades: 2.33GHz, 2.16GHz, 2GHz, and 1.83GHz in a variety of benchmarks and let you know how to get your best bang for the buck.
Note: We will refer to a Core 2 Duo “T7000multiple times in this article. We were unable to get a Merom sample with 2MB L2 cache, thus we lowered the clock speed of our 4MB L2 model to 1.83GHz to perform near that of the T5600 (1.83GHz, 2MB L2 cache), resulting in our unofficial “T7000nomenclature.
The Core 2 Duo Processor
Intel has two lines of Core 2 Duo processors: notebook and desktop. Core 2 Duo for notebooks is codenamed Merom, while Core ...
