Really nice but don't know why its to pricey these days2009-01-05
This is really good handy blender which is less work to clean and easy to use. I bought this product 2 Years back at $29 org. and now it says $199 on amazon. I don't know why its to high these days but I would say i won't pay that much if I have to buy it now.

I've had this hand blender for about 6 years now, and I couldn't be more pleased. Sure, it doesn't come with some of the features of other hand blenders, such as speed control, but I've found it to be durable, reliable, and very easy to clean. Back then, it only came with two attachments... the hand blender and food processor. Both work great.

I've used this for many things. It's wonderful when making mashed potatoes, and saves me a ton of effort when making pumpkin pies from fresh pumpkin. Rather than shoving all of the pumpkin through a strainer, I just puree it with my Braun hand blender. Everything comes out without lumps and to my desired consistency.

Moreover, it is extremely easy to clean. Just detatch the hand blender and rinse it in the sink, or even throw it in the dishwasher!

I would recommend this for anyone who has frequent need for pureed and chopped foods.
Handy Blender with multi use2008-11-20
I'v always wanted a small handy blender. After i got this from Amazon, it has helped me a lot in my kitchen. My baking is fun with this product. Being Indian, i even grind chutneys(Coconut side dish) in the chopper. It gets hot if you grind for over 10 mins. But overall it's a wonderful product.

I love this, I don't use it often, but when I have a reason to it is great. I mix cakes, shakes, beat potatoes, sauces, it's endless.It's even submersable.
