Surprised At The Quality
2005-06-05I have several Minolta lenses to use on my Maxxum 9 and Maxxum 7 cameras and I use this lens frequently if I'm doing wide-angle images. To be perfectly honest, when I first bought this lens I was skeptical about how it would perform. I have shot several hundred rolls of film through this lens and I am generally quite pleased. It does very well for a lens that is rather inexpensive. It is lightweight (a welcome feature) and works very nicely indeed. I strongly recommend this lens for those wanting a short zoom lens in the wide angle area.

Very good lens
2002-03-12I had minolta maxxum st si camera and this lens is a perfect match for that silver color camera.

Flexibilty for my HTsi Plus
2000-10-11This lens not only looks great, but is an outstanding performer on my Minolta HTsi Plus. This matchin silve lens and body is a nice touch, but should not be mistaken for quality. This lens is much wider than the 30mm or 35mm lenses many cameras come with and a f3.5 is relatively fast compared to other lenses like it on the market. It's large 62mm filter ring size also give you flexibility with your other lenses. Just by 62mm filters and step-up rings for your other lenses. I have been very happy with the lens, and highly recomend it.

The Best Camera I ever Used and Had in my life

Printer Buying Guide
What kind of printer is best for me?
Choosing the right printer can be a daunting task. There are several different types of printing technology to choose from, each suited for different needs. Printers come in all shapes and sizes, from tiny travel companions to workgroup workhorses; some are geared toward photographers, others are for multitaskers. And the many specifications for resolution and speed can be misleading. As a rule of thumb, inkjet printers are a must for long-lasting photos, while laser printers are best to produce speedy text documents.
