Good Choice
2002-02-04I have owned a non-surround sound version of this product for a year. The selling point for me was the 51CD capacity of the CD changer. It has been a blessing since I don't have to tangle with jewel cases very often. It is powerful enough that I find a volume setting of 7-10 (30 being the maximum) sufficient for my taste. The remote control makes the switching between tuner, CD player and the two cassette players effortless. This unit includes many features one of which is the ability to program each CD's name for display. I have noticed two programming glitches, which can be rather irritating. One is that if you are listening to CD #27 for example and hit the next CD key, CD #29 is selected so you have to hit the previous CD key to go to #28. Another is that if you are listening to the second side of a cassette tape and want to fast forward to another song, you must remember to hit the rewind key instead! Overall, however, it is a good product and I do recommend it.

REVIEW FOR SONY MHCM500AV
2001-05-16Very excellent system. I am rating the MHCM500 because it is basicly the same system but with 5.1 channel inputs and a sony 60 watt subwoofer. Even with the subwoofer off, bass reproduction is very strong, clear, and accurate. My only problem with this system is that the center channel distorts at maximum volume. This is the perrrrrrrrrrrffffeeeeeecttttt system. Sony has done a great job, yet again!

Excellent system.....
2001-01-23This is a fantastic power-house system. The sound is crisp and clear. The surround features are superb and you can control the volume of the rear and center speakers separately. The tape deck puts out very little noise, so little that you'll think you're listening to a disc. It holds up to 20 radio stations and the surround output on the tuner is surprisingly clear. You simply cannot go wrong with this unit. Five stars.

A Quick Look At the Professional Digital Camcorder
Introduction
Professional digital camcorders are better than your analog camcorder, or even your digital video camera. The advancements that have been made in the camcorder industry are amazing. Just like everything else they keep getting more and more advanced, and shrinking in size. Even though we have seen much advancement, the price keeps getting more and more affordable. Professionals are not the only ones who can now enjoy the wonderful benefits of a professional

A professional digital camcorder allows creativity and quality to meet, and the cost is far lower than it was only a few years ago. Even in the late 1990's most professionals were using Betamax professional quality analog recorders, though the professional digital camcorder was starting to come into its own back then.
