Canon Speedlite 220EX
2009-06-07Generally satisfactory, for the price. Does not rotate or tilt, preventing relfected light photography. Allows TTL phoyography, which is an advantage.

Does what it is supposed to do.
2009-06-05Flash on Canon Rebel was not bright enough. This flash has filled the void. Wish it was a little cheaper though.

Great Canon Flash
2009-02-02Canon Speedlite 220EX for Canon Pro1, Pro 90, G Series and all EOS SLR Cameras
This external flash works great and am pleased with the ease of use and expected longevity like all the products from Canon I have purchased in the past.

Big Flash in a Small Package
2009-01-31Bought the Canon Speedlite 220EX for my Canon G9. I find it to be very compatible with the camera and not nearly as bulky as the more expensive higher-end Canon flash units. The compact flash is well constructed, lightweight, and has good range. I certainly recommend the 220EX for any compatible compact cameras.

The light output is dismal
2009-01-26The speed light does not adjust automatically to put out enough light in AUTO mode. The light output is dismal and less than the flash on my camera making this speed light useless.
