Great gloves
2008-03-27These are the best gloves I have come across for roofing. These gloves have outlasted all others. Dexterity and grip is good. Wearout is great as these kind have been in use daily for two months before the finger tips wear out. In a roofing enviroment that is great!

poor quality
2007-12-13I used to count one ironclad gloves, but for the last three years or so, the quality of workmanship has fallen off dramatically. The stitching between fingers unravels well before there is wear to leather portion. They look cool, and fit well, but if they come apart, they become dangerous around equipment.

GLOVES
2007-01-03IRONCLAD ? WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO SAY .... THE ONLY GLOVES MY MEN WILL WEAR.

light weight at best
2005-11-07I purchased these gloves and started a small remodeling job the next day. After one day of demo one of the finger seams had started to come apart. On day two we framed and they developed a few small holes in the palm. For the money spent I could have gotten three pairs of leather work gloves that would of lasted three months. If you work hard these gloves are the wrong choice.

Don't Lose Your "FEEL"
2005-03-07These gloves fit tight to the skin while increasing your grip and providing some protection. The key here is to wear the right glove for the job. If I am handling something sharp, I'll wear something heavier than these. Perhaps the only flaw is in the labeling that these are Heavy Utility.
I've been using these as a general work glove for a year now and love the fact that I still have some "feel" with these. I plan on picking up the framer style for situations that require more finger dexterity.
