Couldn't believe I found this product again - thought it had been discontinued. My husband had been looking forever to find this exact one to replace the one he's had for too many years. I couldn't even find it at specialty stores that should have had it. And here I find it on Amazon.com! Amazing. I am impressed with the careful design and choice of materials. It is well constructed. It can be worn under outer clothes. I use it most often as a "massage" when my back is stiff rather than a support.
Back brace review2007-03-08
The brace is easy to wear but feels cumbersome and restrictive in the stomach area. Of course if my stomach was a bit smaller, it wouldn't feel as tight.
I wear it to play tennis and it keeps me from over-extending and therefore reinjuring my disc problem. It is a bit harder to bend over and pick up the balls. I have not tried it out doing other things like lifting, shoveling snow, raking leaves, etc. Will report back on how it goes with those activities. Overall a very inexpensive brace which provides some protection to the lower back area.
