Seems there is something to it
2004-06-21A recent study (Gaullier JM, Halse J, Hoye K, Kristiansen K, Fagertun H, Vik H, Gudmundsen O. Conjugated linoleic acid supplementation for 1 y reduces body fat mass in healthy overweight humans. Am J Clin Nutr. 2004 Jun;79(6):1118-25) seems to indicate that some weight loss is obtained in healthy volunteers. As far as I can tell (see the Medscape.com review on this study) there are no significant flaws that would invalidate the conclusions.
In any case, a little booster to weight loss program is welcome and this alternative looks promising. Hopefully, the price of this supplement will follow the lead of the weight. :-)

Be aware of what you are buying.
2004-04-02There is some evidence that CLA (conjugated linoleic acid), the active ingredient in Natrol Tonaliln, has a positive effect on weight, but only in preventing weight gain after loss. There isn't evidence to show it promotes weight loss.
Additionally, you need to take 3.4 grams of CLA to have a theraputic effect. You'll have to take 4 capsules a day, so this bottle of 90 will last you less than a month.
Search google for more information about conjugated linoleic acid before making this purchase.

The child is introduced to a task on its most fundamental level. Once the child masters the first step he is introduced to the next. The process is called chaining. One skill is linked to the next until the child has mastered the task.
For example, if a therapist is using ABA to teach the student to color, he would begin with picking up the crayon. If the student follows through correctly, he is immediately rewarded. Once he demonstrates that he consistently follows through the next step would be introduced.
Applied Behavior Analysis relies heavily on rewarding desired behavior and redirecting negative behavior. Negative behavior is typically ignored unless it is a non-negotiable like ...
