Deal Barn - Linksys WUSB11 Wireless-B Adapter
2008-10-16I ordered the Linksys WUSB11 Wireless-B Adapter from Deal Barn to replace one that had been broken. I was amazed at how fast the transaction and shipping took place. From the time I placed the order to the time I installed the part was less than a week. Adapter is very easy to install. Just follow the simple instructions provided in the box. 2008-07-30Fast service and no problems with product. This is an older version, Wireless-B, but I wanted to match it with one on another computer I already had been using. It was a cinch to set up and works fine.
good but not great
2008-07-16I like Linksys a lot but I'm a little dissappointed in the USB card adapted. I run my laptop that has built in wireless side by side with my desktop that doesn't. I get 54mbps on my laptop but only 11mbps with my desktop.
Customer support is non-existant
2008-03-31I got online with customer support and was told based on my system(win98) on an older pc I needed this adapter. I got it here and could not get it to work, tried calling for days..all times of the day to reach customer support..never an answer(lots of automated stuff) Wound up using it on a laptop instead, it gets really crummy reception even in the same room as the router. Loses signal frequently during gaming. I'm going back to wally worlds belkin. If you get an 'N'..it works great, they just have to be replaced about once a year from burnout.

There's a lot of debate today about the safety of using cell phones while driving. Statistics show that those who use cell phones while driving cause a much greater percentage of accidents than those who avoid using their cell phones. And the studies have shown that it's not just the physical coordination required to punch numbers into the cell phone while you're trying to work the vehicle that causes accidents; it's actually the lack of attention resulting from driving and talking on the cell phone at the same time. It seems that when you're distracted, you're more likely to cause accidents.
