Not that fun. Same thing over and over.2008-12-03
Pros:1) Kids can play even with adults. I know my daughter (who is 6) likes it a lot because it she's good at it and can beat kids and adults handily; 2) It's not expensive; 3) It comes in a nice can, with nice cards and is not cheap-looking like so many games; 4) You can lose cards and still play.

Cons: 1) the person who has played more has a huge advantage. My daughter's friends are nice enough to play a few times but they always lose to her because they don't have the game and she's good at it. Against my husband and brother (both with advanced degrees) my 6 year old beats them so easily they can't believe she's not cheating. (A quick check of the cards after shows she wasn't). However, she has played more. They could get up to speed if they were interested in playing more but they're not because the game isn't interesting. 2) The game is too repetitive. After you've got the hang of it (and you can get the hang of it in just a few games if you're that kind of person), it is just more of the same over and over. You're not learning anything: the fun is just in winning, not in playing. 3) The game is TOO SHORT. If you have the hang of it you will fly though the cards so fast the game will take less than minute. 4) This is not an interactive or social game because you have 100% of your attention on the cards. You can't make conversation, compliment people on nice moves, laugh or even (if you're trying to win) blink.

I thought this game would be like the good old card games from childhood, Speed or Spit (you can find the rules on the Web if you don't know them). But those games are actually way more fun to play! Check them out!
great for mixed ages2008-11-17
We've had this game for 1 year. It is still fun, and is one of those games that you can play with younger kids, and they have equal chance of winning. It is great not to have to "dummy down" or play slow to give them a chance. Plus you can play for only 10-15 minutes if that is all you have time for.
Just great all-around fun for all ages 5+2008-09-09
What I love about this game is that it offers so many possibilities for a child to play/win that it is possible for an adult to actually play instead of hold back when playing against a child. Really a fun game and a great value (with no batteries!!)
Quick, Easy & Fun!2008-08-25
This card game is fun for all ages. My six year old learned in just a few seconds.. but the mastery of speed takes a little longer. You must match the two discard piles by color, pattern or amount on your cards in your hand. You can keep up to 3 cards in your hand at a time and you have your own drawpile to pull from. The first one to play all their cards wins. I agree with someone else who suggested giving an adult more cards than the younger children to make it more fair. But with some practice, your children will be challenging the best of them! Lots of fun.. and as good for the brain as those crossword puzzles!
Blink is fun for all ages!2008-07-04
I bought this game for my son's sixth birthday. The game says it's for ages 7 and up but both my son and my 3 1/2 year old daughter are able to play it fine and they love it. It is a fast paced game where you have to match cards to a color, shape or number of shapes on the card. It gets their minds thinking quickly and in multiple dimensions. Ever since we got the game, the kids ask me to play it all the time. I highly recommend it. We haven't had this much fun with a card game since Uno! Note: for adults playing against their children, you can make it fair if you give yourself more cards than your child. That gives your child a chance to win.
