HP 57 Tri-color Ink Cartridge
2010-03-06I only use HP cartridges in my HP printer. I thought this was a very good deal, but the colors were off when compared to other HP cartridges. By the way, the item is in a bag, not a box. The vendor has offered to take the cartridge back, which is a satisfactory solution. This may be a one time problem, but I would not risk it again.

Original cartridge?????????????
2010-02-14I thought that $35 was to much to pay for one ink cartridge, so I took a chance at at less expensive but "orginal" cartridge. I was able to print about 12 pictures, the colors were mediocre at best. Now my printer won't even work with this ink cartridge. I'll never buy this less expensive product again. You get what you pay for!!!!

I alwasys use new
2010-02-11I always use the new ink cartidges and they work very well. I have had my printer for about 10 years and it still prints perfectly. I then recycle the ink at our local office store and get $3.00 to spend in the store.

Repackaged Repurposed
2010-02-11I used to order online a lot but the third party vendor situation through amazon has given me only a 50 percent success rate on products and in this case, the ink cartridges were in "retail packaging" which is apparently code for "not in the original packaging" The box stated clearly it was a prepackaged ink plus photo paper but the photo paper had been removed, which obviously means the box had been opened and resealed. I would bet the ink cartridges were refills as well, which means it could ruin my new printer. I read the vendors (Office Supplies Outlet) online reviews and the negative reviews got hostile comments so decided to forget getting a refund. I've already had to return several other sub-par items from third party vendors selling through Amazon. Amazon's return policy is fantastic and they are fast but overall I'm sticking with in store purchases to avoid these kind of vendors completely. I've ordered things online via other e-retailers and found one that some etailers do not post any negative reviews at all, just one or two really positive reviews on each product (yes, its true big O) so at least I give lots of credit to Amazon for being honest with posting all reviews, good and bad so customers can make informed decisions.

Great bargain
2010-02-09I always turn to Amazon for my printer ink purchases. I always need genuine HP products as I will not use refilled, remanufactured or compatible cartridges. I can always depend on the much better pricing and service I get. I buy the HP cartridges that my printer requires and have never had any problems.

Camera basics: shutter-speed, aperture and ISO
In this article, I’ll introduce you to the basic elements that you can use to control exposure in your shooting. If you have a digital SLR, there will be a way to set all of these controls on your camera, but since they differ between manufacturers and models, you’ll need to refer to your camera’s manual to find out exactly how to change them.
All cameras, whether an ancient film camera, or a more modern digital, work in pretty much the same way. Photographs are taken by letting light fall onto a light-sensitive medium, which records the image. Traditionally, this has been film, but more recently, it tends to be a digital sensor. The more light that falls onto the film or sensor, the lighter the image.
Put simply, a camera consists of a light-tight box that stores a light-sensitive device (either a film or a digital sensor), a lens that magnifies and focuses the image onto that light-sensitive device through a hole in the box (called the aperture) , and a shutter that opens ...
Professional video camera
A Professional video camera (often called a Television camera even though the use has spread) is a high-end device for recording electronic moving images (as opposed to a movie camera, that records the images on film). Originally developed for use in television studios, they are now commonly used for corporate and educational videos, music videos, direct-to-video movies, etc.
There are two types of professional video cameras: High end portable, recording cameras (essentially, high-end camcorders) used for ENG and EFP image acquisition, and studio cameras which lack the recording capability of a camcorder, and are often fixed on studio pedestals. Portable professional cameras are generally much larger than consumer cameras and are designed to be carried on the shoulder.
Technology
It is common for professional cameras to split the incoming light into the three primary colors that humans are able to see, feeding each color into a separate pickup tube (in older cameras) or charge ...
