Outstanding card for picture transfers2007-01-03
I ordered this to easily transfer pictures between my cameras and my computers. It helps save time when I want to access a picture or set of pictures to transfer and print on my system. I can carry it with me and transfer all manner of pictures to other family computers.
Good for those with digital cameras2002-12-28
I bought this to compliment a recent purchase of a digital camera. After receiving it I plugged it into my PC and it was detected and working without having to install any drivers (Windows XP). I was able to download around 60 megabytes of pictures in just a couple minutes. I am pleased with this overall; I just wish it were a little smaller given the size of the SD and MMC formats.

Overall I'd suggest this read to anyone who has a digital camera or uses secure digital or MMC cards in other electronic devices. It saves on batteries in the devices and transfers files very quickly.

Digital camera batteries
Batteries are vital for all photography and makiing sure that you have a spare set is essential if you intend to take alot of pictures. Print digital also recommend that when deciding upon a digital camera keep in mind what sort of batteries it takes. Does it take rechargeable batteries, are the batteries built and do you have to plug it into the mains, or does the camera only take standard batteries, if so then it can become exspensive if you are a keen photographer and use the camera alot. There are three types of rechargeable batteries: NiCD, NiMH and Lithium-Ion. Nickel Metal Hydride are the most popular rechargeable batteries at present. The one small down fall of these batteries is that they will loose a small amount of charge even if they are not being used, so be sure to check the batteries before using them. When you purchase a new digital camera make sure to ask what type of battery ...
Digital cameras are good for the environment
As we consider the digital camera revolution that has taken place over the last decade, most people think about it in terms of enhanced benefits for consumers. We can take a lot more pictures at much lower cost with digital cameras versus film cameras. We can also more easily manipulate and share those photos since they're all in the digital realm. But one thing many people don't think about actually deserves mention as potentially the most profound effect of the digital camera revolution: how digital cameras greatly reduce the destructive impact on the environment compared to film cameras. At first, you might think, "How can that be? My film camera didn't harm the environment!" Even though it wasn't your camera that harmed the environment, your film processing did indeed harm it. Any time you take your pictures to a photo processing center, that film is run through batches of chemicals. These chemicals are environmental hazards, and once they are used to process film, those chem ...
