This is a really fun game!!!2010-02-18
I purchased the game from Amazon dot com at a terrific price!
Unfortunately, I also read quite a few reviews good and bad and in-between.
The bad reviews kind of ruined it for me. I was looking at cheats even before I received the package in the mail because the bad reviews turned me away from giving the game a chance. May I recommend that you give the game a chance by just installing it and playing it. I do not agree with the criticism I read in the bad reviews of this game.
Doom 3 is destined to be a classic, just like the original Doom. I'm having fun playing this game. And, look for the red stapler while you're at it. Nice touch, guys...

Puny little 19 inch screen flat panel (And, I'm going to do something about that, you can bet)
Doom Rocks!2010-01-15
This is a replacement for my original game which was lost during one of my moves. I get off on splatter games and this is the latest version of the John Romero classic I cut my teeth on.

Great graphics and a storyline that's been beaten to death by every developer out there. Its still a lot of fun and a great way to waste one's free time.
DOOM is always a winner2009-11-11
A really good game. Loads easy and plays great. Just upgraded to a screaming Systemax desktop which can exploit this, and all other, softwear.
One of the best First Person Shooters you can get your hands on.2009-08-30
I have been playing this game for years. And after all this time; it's STILL enjoyable. And even when I get bored with it; there are dozens of Mods out there on the net.

Another great thing about this game is it's story. The story is deep and dark; just as the DooM series has been and forever will be. And the sequel's story (Resurrection of Evil) is also just as great.

One last thing: this game has been out for several years now, yet it's graphics are still amazing. I don't know how Halo beat DooM in best FPS game, but I don't care. DooM has been there since near the start of the FPS genre, and it is the game that made this genre awesome. And as long as the FPS genre exist; so will DooM. And also even after all these years id software can still pat themselves on the back for this game.
A Greet Update On A Classic Game2009-08-06
I used to play "Doom" all the time when I was younger. There's just something about shooting demons at point-blank range that makes me all happy inside. With this sequel (if you can call it that), it brings back the memories of playing this for hours (and well into the night) and being scared half-to-death every time I get jumped from behind. I haven't been this scared while playing a game since the late nights playing "Resident Evil 2". Any DOOM fan must play this, and good luck with surviving the first few missions (*insert maniacal laughter*).
