Product Description:
The 28-300 mm XR (Model A06) zoom achieves a remarkable 25% reduction in size, and 28% reduction in weight compared with the previous 28-300 mm (model 185D) - making the A06 the smallest, lightest 28-300 zoom in existence today. To achieve such compact, lightweight lens design, Tamron further improved upon the Moving Triple Cam technology introduced in the 28-200 XR (Model A03), achieving a solid, stable two-step extension action mechanism to attain the 300 mm zoom setting. XR (extra Refractive Index) glass is effective in reducing the optical length of the lens through high refractivity. LD (Low Dispersion) and AD (Anomalous Dispersion) glass minimize loss of sharpness caused by color blurring at the tele end of the focal range, while ensuring vivid, quality imaging. The ASL lens technology compensates for spherical aberration to achieve outstanding image quality. At the same time, reducing the number of elements results in a more compact, lightweight lens package.

The features this camcorder can offer are also great. Some cameras offer more features than others, so make sure that the camera has the features you want.

Generally when design, performance and technological improvements are made on electronic products there is a reduction in size as well to make them more compact.
For example the early day radios were built in large cabinets and required radio vacuum tubes. Eventually, transistor radios were constructed and were more portable. Today, a radio can be as small as a wristwatch.
Camcorders have also evolved in tec ...
Professional video camera
A Professional video camera (often called a Television camera even though the use has spread) is a high-end device for recording electronic moving images (as opposed to a movie camera, that records the images on film). Originally developed for use in television studios, they are now commonly used for corporate and educational videos, music videos, direct-to-video movies, etc.
There are two types of professional video cameras: High end portable, recording cameras (essentially, high-end camcorders) used for ENG and EFP image acquisition, and studio cameras which lack the recording capability of a camcorder, and are often fixed on studio pedestals. Portable professional cameras are generally much larger than consumer cameras and are designed to be carried on the shoulder.
Technology
It is common for professional cameras to split the incoming light into the three primary colors that humans are able to see, feeding each color into a separate pickup tube (in older cameras) or charge ...
