Great Pictures, Good Articles, Right Worldview
2008-11-18My son loves this magazine (and so do his friends to whom we have gifted it). The pictures are beautiful, the articles inform him and make him think, and we don't have to deconstruct the worldview like we do with other magazines. If you're looking for evolutionary just-so stories, there are other magazines out there.

Yay, non-evolutionary publication!
2008-03-25It is great to have something un-philosophical for kids to read. Magazine shows, in simple manner, wonders of Gods creation (unlike most other literature which designed to dull children's minds with evolutionary fantasy).

Love this Magazine
2008-02-09My kids love Nature Friend Magazine. It has came along way since when I Mother use to get it. It is now full of great pictures and fun things for the kids to do. These are more for the older child, 7 on up I would imagine but my 4 year old loves looking at the pictures. I am continuously fishing them out from underneath his bed. The stories target animals that are found in the US so a child can relate more with this, I think this is why my husband and children find it so fascinating. As soon as we receive an issue, he sits down with the kids and reads it from cover to cover. They are very kid friendly meaning they welcome kids ideas, stories, and opinions and will publish them. I guess this would make it a readers magazine. We love the magazine and I believe it would make a great addition to any home.

Science & Family Friendly!
2007-08-26This magazine is wonderfully family friendly! Geared toward younger
children with a curiosity toward things natural. My older tween children
also enjoy the beautiful, first class photography.
I saw some reviews in this space that seemed to think that if one believes that God created the world that this belief precludes a love for science. This is simply not the case. Our family is very science centered with grandparents retired from NASA and Nature Friend is a friend to the genuine lover of science.
A wonderful magazine that is of the highest quality and standard scientifically as well as artistically. We can't say enough positive about it!

Misleading
2006-12-22This should be labeled better on the cover and in descriptions! When I want my grandchildren to learn about God I'll take them to church and teach them by example. This is a religious magazine based on creationism and not on scientific knowledge or fact. I am Christian with an avid science interest. God gave us a brain to think and learn!!!
