Great Item!!!
2008-02-09This carrying case is great. I carry my camcorder, digital camera, and all of my cables and accessories. It is very sturdy and does an excellent job protecting my expensive electronics. If your looking for a carrying case I strongly recommend this one.

Sony camera bag
2007-12-04This bag is built very well. The quality is top notch. There is sufficient padding to protect whatever one puts into this thing. It is, however, a bit on the small side. It can fit a small camcorder, power adapter and a few accessories no problem. But that is about it. The latch mechanism is a bit odd though. It may look cool, but it can be a pain to close and it does not really seem that secure. As a testament to its reliability I have had it fail on me once. That is why from now on I use the shoulder strap whenever I carry the bag around. But for what little I gotta carry around in this bag it is near perfect.

GOOD PRODUCT
2007-11-25I am very pleased with the camcorder bag from Sony, even though i wish it was a little larger, but it handles most of the items ok.
Quality seems to be very good and amazons price was excellent. Service was very good and shipping was really a fair price.

Small bag makes good
2007-08-07This may not be a large bag or even a fancy bag but it sure works well for the Sony Handicam. Nice secure and heavy seams, ensure a long lasting relationship. Lots of compartments for about anything you would need for this camera then some. I like it and its "emblem" identifying its a Sony works for me as well. Worth twice the price!

It's Huge
2007-07-16I bought a Sony HDR-HC7 camcorder and bought this bag for it. This bag is HUGE. I planned on using it only for my tiny little camcorder and it's just way too big for it. I mean if you're going to stuff this thing with countless other things, you're going to run out of space with any bag. This thing measures about 1 1/2 foot long and 1 foot tall. Measure this out and you'll see how big it really is.

Camera basics: shutter-speed, aperture and ISO
In this article, I’ll introduce you to the basic elements that you can use to control exposure in your shooting. If you have a digital SLR, there will be a way to set all of these controls on your camera, but since they differ between manufacturers and models, you’ll need to refer to your camera’s manual to find out exactly how to change them.
All cameras, whether an ancient film camera, or a more modern digital, work in pretty much the same way. Photographs are taken by letting light fall onto a light-sensitive medium, which records the image. Traditionally, this has been film, but more recently, it tends to be a digital sensor. The more light that falls onto the film or sensor, the lighter the image.
Put simply, a camera consists of a light-tight box that stores a light-sensitive device (either a film or a digital sensor), a lens that magnifies and focuses the image onto that light-sensitive device through a hole in the box (called the aperture) , and a shutter that opens ...
Digital camera batteries
Batteries are vital for all photography and makiing sure that you have a spare set is essential if you intend to take alot of pictures. Print digital also recommend that when deciding upon a digital camera keep in mind what sort of batteries it takes. Does it take rechargeable batteries, are the batteries built and do you have to plug it into the mains, or does the camera only take standard batteries, if so then it can become exspensive if you are a keen photographer and use the camera alot.
There are three types of rechargeable batteries: NiCD, NiMH and Lithium-Ion. Nickel Metal Hydride are the most popular rechargeable batteries at present. They hold more charge than their counter parts NiCD and don't suffer from memory effect. The one small down fall of these batteries is that they will loose a small amount of charge even if they are not being used, so be sure to check the batteries before using them.
When you purchase a new digital camera make sure to ask what type of battery ...
