Worked well for awhile
2007-12-16When I first bought this phone it seemed perfect, but then after a month of use people were saying that it was hard to hear me and they sounded muffled to me as well. I would try to turn up the volume and then received complaints that there was a lot of static on the line.

Phone review
2007-01-10A great product. I use it for my work at home business and it works great.

Best Yet
2007-01-09Amazons price was the best I found over several days of looking. The headset phone also works better than any others I have tried to date, the main problem has been finding one that is wired (must have wired for security) and one that has good volume. I run a small Customer Service Office and the Headset Phone is the most important piece of equipment I own, without it I could not do business. Well worth buying.

Excellent for Customer Service
2007-01-09I work from home and use this phone for all my customer service projects. I have no problems hearing anyone and can adjust the volume if I get a customer that is too loud. The customers never have issues with hearing me either. This phone also offers a mute button which is a much needed option when working. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone.

If only sound quality was better
2007-01-06This headset phone is exactly what I need for my home office. I do not understand why the sound quality on this is so poor compared to a normal cheap handset phone (and yes, I've tested with cheap handset on the same line). This phone adds a fair amount of noise (more of a hum/buzz). With volume & tone control (a nice plus), it is usable but still annoying. If they improve this phone to have normal basic handset type sound quality, I would give this product a 5.

" For a list of all the ways technology has failed to improve the quality of life, please press three." - Alice Kahn
This quote is certainly applicable to consumer electronics. From the very first commercially produced radios to the latest in high-definition television technology, the manner in which the components used to deliver our news, music, movies and entertainment are interconnected seems to have escaped logic. For both the newcomer and the old hand alike, connecting equipment in the most efficient and effective manner can be a painful chore. It is hoped this article will improve your background knowledge concerning potential A/V system connection schemes and where each is most appropriate. The next time you find yourself in a "connectivity quandary" perhaps the ideas shared here will help you to quickly solve the riddle of which wire goes where and why!
