Good stuff
2009-01-08I received the first copy in less than 2 weeks, much earlier than expected! Love it!

New York magazine subscription
2009-01-06Truthfully, I thought I had ordered 'The New Yorker'; however, I received my first issue last week and was quite happy with 'New York." A one-year's subscription for $15 ($19.99 - $5.00 Amazon coupon) was quite the deal! Thanks!

Second Only To The New Yorker
2009-01-06New York magazine has been around since the 1960s, and I've been reading it since then. It's gone through its ups and downs over the years, but now it contains indispensable articles not only pertaining to New York City, but it is also a guide to the latest happenings in New York. Highly recommended.

Amazon should avoid this dumb promotions.... MAGAzines? please
2009-01-01amazon should focus in promoting useful stuff not stuff that u see it once and later, it is garbage... u can get mags for free in sites and different other promotions...
PLEASE AMAZON.... GIVE US GOOD GOLD BOX DEALS..

Missed issues
2008-12-13I've never lived in N.Y. but I love the magazine & have subscribed for many years. However, I've always had a problem with missed issues and, yes, I am aware there are several "double issues". I think I miss an issue about once every six weeks. I've never been able to figure out if the problem happens at the printing facility, distribution center or even the possibility that certain postal employees are interested in reading certain issues. Do the issues just disappear into thin air? A couple times I've gotton so frustrated that I've called the magazine & they give you the third degree. You have to tell them exactly which issues you missed & then they will add exactly that number issues to your subscription. It's more trouble than it's worth. I just wish I could get all the issues in the first place.
