Monster what? Ripoff?
2007-03-18I purchased this charger and batteries because of the 2100 mAh rating and because I need to charge my batteries very quickly. I found that the charge time is a little long and the batteries are very expensive. I saw Energizer Rechargable batteries at my local grocery store packaged with a charger for $25.95. The batteries were rated at 2500 mAh so I purchased the package. The first time I used the charger it had fully charged the batteries in 15 miuntes and the charge lasted longer than the Monster batteries which took twice as long to charge. I'd recommend going elsewhere for higher rated batteries at a cheaper price and that has a charger that gets them up and going twice as fast.

Monster Batteries ROCK!
2006-12-06An associate at an electronics store told me to get these batteries and the charger for the new digital camera I bought, said they were the best. Well that was 4 years ago. I am still using the original batteries and charger that was sold to me. I am one who uses my camera on a weekly basis so I am always recharging the batteries. As far as lasting power, these things put the energizer bunny to shame and pass him like he is going in reverse. I definately reccomend this product HIGHLY! I just bought a new set for my daughters new mp3 player she's getting for christmas.

Great batteries, not so great charger
2006-06-12I have used this charger & battery package for a while now in my digital SLR, battery performance is excellent! The downside is that the charger has issues: The top bay charges faster than the bottom bay and the batteries get VERY hot when charging, it has not seemed to affect the batteries in the year I have had them. If you are looking for exceptional batteries buy these, and the charger is okay, just beware that it does not charge all NiMH batteries but does do most.

Digital Battery Charger
2005-09-06First Amazon thanks for the great service in delivering our item. It works fantastic. We are very satisfied with it.

Does not charge all types of batteries.
2004-04-11Be warned if you have other types of NiMH batteries they may not work in Monster Chargers.
I bought this charger at Circit City and it came with 4 batteries. I went ahead and charged two of them so I can use them. It charged them in less than three hours but they did get very warm even hot which the charger says they should not be. After I charged them I saw that my camera batteries needed charger. I had Maxell NiMH rechargable batteries, I go and put them in the charger and nothing happens. The light does not go on. The unit makes no noise and acts like I have nothing in there. I have 10 of these Maxell NiMH rechargable total and none of them will work. I had to end up charging my camera batteries in my slow 9 hour charger.
I got this charger because it was quicker and I though it could charge any NiMH battery. I see that only the batteries that have those little plastic holes on the top will charge and the Duracell Accu AAA worked. I ended up returing the charger and bought from www.nimhbattery.com the MAHA POWEREX MH-C401FS charger. I put those Maxell NiMH in the Powerex and it worked like it suppose too and it lets you charge them either fast 100 minutes or slow 5 hours which makes the batteries not get hot. A charger that suppose to charge NiMH batteris suppose to charge any NiMH batteries no matter what the make is.

VHS
The VHS format is the oldest type of camcorder. This type of video camcorder
is fast becoming outdated, because you can only play back
the video on a VHS VCR system. VHS
camcorders are not nearly as clear as digital

and are much more bulky, that dv camcorders. You can only find these video

VHS-C

the same technology. The video tapes u ...
