one of the underrated wrestlers of our time in the wwe2006-02-01
i saw a clip of one of his videos from raw almost four years ago when he was talking to kevin nash and xpac in the backstage i forget how good of a talker booker t was he was and is on the level as kurt angle it is not what he says but how he says things get me interested in listening what he has on his mind he has a strong voice like james earl jones and morgan freeman he had some good fueds when n da wwe i now this dvd is about booker t being young but i have only seen when he entered the wwf in 2001 and i was an instant fan of his i was really looking forward to the rock and booker fued because they both had some much in common the unique look, charmaisa on the mic, and the ability to put on a good show for the fans before moving to the wwf booker was the king of wcw when the wcw world title four titles he is one of the most decorated champion of our time winnig all types of championships from tag, usa title, and like the rock was not only good on the mic but also in the ring he could do moves men smaller than him could do carry certain people like the big show and undertaker to matches that the all time greats haven't yet did he had 2 star plus efforts with both that is some accomplishment n da middle of 2002 i began to talk less notice of him because he went from mainevent to being a mid carder with golddust don't get me wrong golddust is a unique wrestler but i thought that booker deserved better than that he should have been with the best benoit, angle, guerrero, and hbk the 90s to the early 2000s was when he was at his very best i never recall seeing any four star matches from him which is fine because i do recall him having tons of 3 star and better matches now that he is approaching a middle age wrestler he isn't as good as he used to be it is ok because i am seeing it slightly in angle, benoit, and michaels but that is what happens booker t will be remember as one of the best never to win the wwe title he had a chance n 2003 against hhh but hhh thought that booker was n his league or something hhh but hhh wasn't putting on four or five star matches anymore so how dare him booker t back n his early years was better than hhh so giving booker t the title won would have made the wwe more money because booker would have been the first black wrestler to win the belt other than the rock but the rock is mixed with island and afro american that is why i don't have as much respect for hhh as i should i won't say because booker t was black but i will say it wasn't fair for hhh to decide who he gives the belt to he didn't have that authority but people say rvd is the most underrated performer i say booker t he is better on the mic than rvd and knew what to do in the ring slightly better than rvd enough though rvd had a few four star matches when he debut n da wwf in 2001 and 2002

Great start for the current legend2004-05-09
Booker T is one of the greatest wrestlers alive today and this DVD explains how he got from zero to hero, his rise and fall and the title wins of the 5 time heavyweight champion and tag team legend. Booker has left from WCW and still is a big name in the WWE Today and will one day again retain the Heavyweight title for the sixth time in his 14 year career. If you are a Booker fan , this DVD is great and the transformation of Booker's wrestling role is also included plus all major title wins, Highlighted main events, hiatus and his feuds. This is a great documentary on legendary wrestler Booker T and will do just fine for the fans. 8.5/10.
booker t the early years2003-08-12
this dvd is good for fans of booker t who want to see where he got his career started or for fans of gwf(global wrestling federation)or for fans of 90's style texas wrestling(uswa, world class).each match is hosted by mr.u.s.a tony atlas(former wwf tagteam champ)and by brian webster(gwf announcer).all original announcing in each match(some very entertaining)and there are a few matches that are cut a little but it don't really take away from the matches.dvd is 56 mins long and has seven matches.the matches are: 1.booker t vs beach boy sean summers. 2.the ebony experience(harlem heat)vs the lasertrons.(gwf tag title match) 3.booker t vs action jackson 4.booker t vs mike davis 5.booker t vs alex portaeu 6.booker t vs the super destroyer 7.booker tvs alex porteau. there is no real main event matches on this dvd or any really great matches.the matches are about mid-card quality.but, for 10 dollars its about what it is worth.i just think they could of used some other gwf matches of booker t or with him and stevie ray that i remember watching that were really good matches.
