The item might be good... but not this supplier.
2010-02-06I ordered this item from ANTOnline and 5 days later I received an e-mail stating: "Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to the address entered at order placement, and we have instructed Amazon to cancel your order"... 5 days later! This is the first time in the many years since I started buying from Amazon and its suppliers that I get an apology of this kind. But more interestingly, the order just disappeared from my purchase records at Amazon so at this moment I am not able to leave a feedback using the standard procedures. I already filed a complaint stating this problem to both Amazon and ANTOnine but still want to advise other potential customers to stay away from this product or get it from another supplier.

2009-12-12This filter was purchased to protect the lens. It does that perfectly.
The threads engaged the threads on the lens smoothly.
This is a must buy for every lens, well worth the cost.
Perfectly fine filter
2009-08-26I purchased a Sigma 30mm f/1.4 and got this as protection for the glass. The construction is well above average and it seems to be a very well made filter.
Good lens protection
2009-08-23I bought sunpak 62mm and 52mm filters for my Canon lenses (75-300mm and 50mm lenses respectively) and for about $6 each they seem to be fantastic and cheap protection from both UV rays and physical damage to your camera lenses.
It's what you expect.
