Customer Reviews

Works for me!
2008-10-24I am using this as a headphone extension on my PC and it works great. No static or loss in sound quality. Would recommend.

Well built, good audio connection
2008-09-12Bought this for the car for long trips. Now the kids can have the portable DVD player in their lap in the back seat while plugging the audio into the car stereo (unless it's a stupid movie in which case they use headphones). The sound is good quality and the cord construction is well made.

A must have for your audio set up for the computer.
2008-09-04This cable is a good thing to have especially if you have some speakers that you want some where but their cord to the computer is just too short well this is the item for you if you wish to have your speakers somewhere that you really want them to be. I own one and I am using it and If I was unhappy about it then I would not be giving it such a nice review. Don't take my word for it. Buy it!

Cables to go have the quality and availability I need.
2008-06-07Their cables are well made and are durable. No dropoff of quality even when I connect two together. If you want a longer run you should use balanced cable and connectors. This is needed in every gadget bag.

Just right
2008-05-13I bought this to connect my pc to my stereo. This will allow me to have non-stop music to run off i-tunes locally or itunes radio stations. Tried to find a 20 foot cord, but it was no longer available. This should do the trick...

The types of camcorders
If you are planning on purchasing a camcorder, you should be familiar with
the types of camcorders and how they can benefit your specific needs. The
formats of video cameras include, VHS, VHS-C,
8mm, Hi8, Mini Digital Video (Mini DV), DVD and Digital 8. Each format has
its pros and cons
VHS
The VHS format is the oldest type of camcorder. This type of video camcorder
is fast becoming outdated, because you can only play back
the video on a VHS VCR system. VHS
camcorders are not nearly as clear as digital
video camcorders that offer clear video with 540 lines of resolution,
VHS video cameras only offer 240 lines of resolution. They also weigh more
and are much more bulky, that dv camcorders. You can only find these video
camera used because their technology is now outdated.
VHS-C
The VHS-C format offer 240 lines of resolution, just like VHS. These analog
camcorders come in a smaller size that the VHS camcorder models, but use
the same technology. The video tapes u ...
Driving with a cell phone is a lot less dangerous than driving on prescription drugs
There's a lot of debate today about the safety of using cell phones while driving. Statistics show that those who use cell phones while driving cause a much greater percentage of accidents than those who avoid using their cell phones. And the studies have shown that it's not just the physical coordination required to punch numbers into the cell phone while you're trying to work the vehicle that causes accidents; it's actually the lack of attention resulting from driving and talking on the cell phone at the same time. It seems that when you're distracted, you're more likely to cause accidents.
In terms of public safety, it's probably correct to say that banning cell phones would reduce the number of traffic accidents. But I think, more accurately, it depends on the person. Some people are operating on, shall we say, lower power CPUs in their heads to begin with. They might be zoned out on prescription drugs, and when you add a cell phone to the equation, they do become a danger to the ...
