Bought a lemon
2007-09-01I have several friends that bought this same item. It has worked well for them. Mine has issues from 10ft+. Battery compartment is a real pain to open. Eats batteries alive.

IOGear RF Mouse
2007-07-26I love this product. The screwdriver thing is an annoyance but let's get real...is it a big deal? No. The advantage of this product over ALL other presenters is, this device is a TOTALLY wireless mouse you can use anywhere! If you need to demonstrate any computer application to an audience, you need a mouse. Using this device, you can walk around the room and have complete control of the application! Normal wireless presenters usually don't work as a full-blown mouse, or if they do, they are clumsy. The Phaser has full mouse capability AND you can use it as a presenter. So what is the downside? THE UNIT IS NOT RECHARGABLE! BOO!! It eats batteries like candy so you ALWAYS need about 6 or 8 extra sets of batteries. If IOGear ever made this unit rechargable, it would be the perfect mouse. (and for the other folks, maybe they could include a screw driver, too!)

Star Trek Next Generation
2007-03-27Most of what other reviewers said is right. Just never drop it on a hard floor. Plus, I can read my Serial number.
It seems to be for large hands, left or right. It is a first step toward a good product. The next generation needs a no-tools battery door or a drop-in battery charger and true 50-foot range. Mine dies at 8 feet away.
The Phaser's internal antenna is not omnidirectional. If you point it at 4 or 8 o'clock with respect to the receiver, it will not work.
I like it anyway.

Breaks easily
2007-02-21This is a great product but care must be taken or it will stop working. It dropped a few times from my desk and now it only scrolls up and down.

Great Mouse for the price!
2007-01-16For someone who is in the market for a gyration air mouse - this is a fantastic second choice, or First! (This one costs a lot less) The mouse is very comfortable the way it form fits to your hand. I actually like it better than "Air" mice. The roller ball is much more appealling than waiving your arm in the air. There are three minor improvments that can be made: It is not as solid as gyration and feels like a cheap plastic toy at first. You have to punch the little, tiny, miniscule connect button on the bottom each and every time you use it. Also, you cannot optionally use it on a surface. In your lap, standing up, but cannot be used as a traditional mouse.

These stores will be able to point you to the accessories that are most compatible for your specific camera. You can also find accessories at a general store, or on the Internet. Some good accessories to invest in would be the head cleaner tape, filters, a portable tripod, a bag for your camcorder, and an extended battery.

Professional video camera
A Professional video camera (often called a Television camera even though the use has spread) is a high-end device for recording electronic moving images (as opposed to a movie camera, that records the images on film). Originally developed for use in television studios, they are now commonly used for corporate and educational videos, music videos, direct-to-video movies, etc.
There are two types of professional video cameras: High end portable, recording cameras (essentially, high-end camcorders) used for ENG and EFP image acquisition, and studio cameras which lack the recording capability of a camcorder, and are often fixed on studio pedestals. Portable professional cameras are generally much larger than consumer cameras and are designed to be carried on the shoulder.
Technology
It is common for professional cameras to split the incoming light into the three primary colors that humans are able to see, feeding each color into a separate pickup tube (in older cameras) or charge ...
