Transfers start coming off and fading after first wash!
2009-06-24Creating the transfer is easy--the instructions are simple to follow and they work. However, after the first wash (delicate cycle in a front-loader, cold water, hang to dry), the ink starts washing off and the edges start to become frayed. Also, the image itself starts to become crinkled! Maybe hand washing is what's needed but that's not something the instructions call for. In fact, it says you can machine wash & dry--clearly, you can't.

Works as promised
2009-05-11I am making team t-shirts on navy, and royal blue t-shirts. These transfers worked beautifully. After reading the reviews, I was very careful to read the instructions VERY carefully. As long as you follow the instructions, there are no problems. The artwork transferred very well to the t-shirt with no bleed through.
I only had two mishaps: 1, I used the transfer sheet at its orginal size, well the cover paper they give you to use with the transfer is just as large as the transfer paper. The cover paper slipped a little while ironing, and spread a little on the t-shirt, as well as got on my iron. If you are going to use the full size transfer paper I suggest using two sheets of the cover paper overlapping to make sure there is no slippage. I was able to brush off the mistake after it cooled a little, and you really can't tell it was ever there. The second mishap I encountered was that I was putting a small logo on the front of the t-shirt, and inadvertently burned it just a little (its a little dark), since while ironing I never did move off the logo because it was so small. Now when putting on the smaller logo, I make sure my iron completely moves off the transfer periodically, and shorten the ironing time just a bit. A good product, you just need to follow the directions.
Also, I found by transfers at Office Depot for about $4 less than what is advertised on Amazon. I was anxious to try them out so decided to buy them local. Usually Amazon has the lowest prices, but I guess they can't do it all the time.

Can't separate the backing
2009-01-09I couldn't get the backing to separate with this product -- I'd start to peel it off from the edge it would would come of in randomly shaped, small strips. Ended up wasting all 5 pages -- could not get the backing off at all. :(

better than jam
2008-11-25Worked great, just read and follow the guide. We used them on a few types of materials and they worked great for each one.
Colours are good, transfers have done fine in the washing machine and even drier.
I suggest you just read the instructions and ensure you are following the guidelines for DARK and you should have no issues.
backing is removed before you iron it not after.
was able to cut up the sheets after printing to make lots of small, large and odd shaped tranfers.

Easy to use
2008-10-26I used the transfer to make a flag, putting a club logo on parachute cloth. I think the cloth was a bit light, since I did get some bubbling in the finished product. But it was easy to use and looks good.
Electronics Articles
Camera basics: shutter-speed, aperture and ISO
In this article, I’ll introduce you to the basic elements that you can use to control exposure in your shooting. If you have a digital SLR, there will be a way to set all of these controls on your camera, but since they differ between manufacturers and models, you’ll need to refer to your camera’s manual to find out exactly how to change them.
All cameras, whether an ancient film camera, or a more modern digital, work in pretty much the same way. Photographs are taken by letting light fall onto a light-sensitive medium, which records the image. Traditionally, this has been film, but more recently, it tends to be a digital sensor. The more light that falls onto the film or sensor, the lighter the image.
Put simply, a camera consists of a light-tight box that stores a light-sensitive device (either a film or a digital sensor), a lens that magnifies and focuses the image onto that light-sensitive device through a hole in the box (called the aperture) , and a shutter that opens ...
