Saved My pictures from extinction!
2008-10-15Works well! When I purchased a new computer I felt I'd lost the capability to use my floppy discs with pictures and information saved. Thank God I found this! Happy Me!
The service I recieved was prompt and up to my expectations.

Well worth the bucks!
2008-09-19I recently realized I had some files that were still on floppy and that my new PC didn't have a 5.5" drive. This little jewel wasn't the cheapest external drive out there, but it carries a name I've grown to trust. The interchangable colors is nice and having the USB cable permanently attached is very comveniet. Some other companies don't even include the USB cable. Just plug it in and it works. It even shows up as your "A" Drive! How cool is that?!

For All It's Worth - Comes In Handy
2008-09-09I of course had some old data sitting around on floppies. I really miss them - and you know why? Because they weren't so delicate as everything else is today, meaning you could slide one across the desk or throw one over type of thing etc.. But now - you certainly don't wanna throw anything around for fear of having it break or get ruined somehow. Also trouble shooters (which I'm not one of) talk about some repair maintenance diagnostic type of stuff programs and of course the old bootable can only be done with a floppy.... whatever that stuff's all about? But of course the bottom line is - if you need it, you need it - if you don't, you don't....

Its True Plug and Play!
2008-08-12Took it out of the box. Clicked on its little stand and plugged into a USB port on the back of my computer and sat it down next to the left side of the computer and it fit perfectly into the small space I had for it.
The stand has REALLY sticky feet which keep the drive from sliding when you insert a diskette and the provided button makes it easy to pop it out.
The computer immediately recognized the drive and I have had no software conflicts with it.

Recently bought a Sony External USB Floppy Drive
2008-08-08My only computer with a floppy drive died on me a year ago.
I needed an external floppy drive to read my disks so I tried a
Sony External USB Floppy Drive(MPF88E/UA/181). It works great so far, problem solved.

Why You Should Use A Mini DV Camcorder
Introduction
The mini DV camcorder has many advantages to offer its users. If you enjoy your digital video camera you will also enjoy this. The mini DV camcorder is easier to take with you than the regular sized cameras such as the hi definition camcorder, or the hi-Res camcorder. The size of this camcorder is one of its big advantages. The features this camcorder can offer are also great. Some cameras offer more features than others, so make sure that the camera has the features you want.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Generally when design, performance and technological improvements are made on electronic products there is a reduction in size as well to make them more compact.
For example the early day radios were built in large cabinets and required radio vacuum tubes. Eventually, transistor radios were constructed and were more portable. Today, a radio can be as small as a wristwatch.
Camcorders have also evolved in tec ...
Core 2 Duo Scaling
Laptop Scaling
Intel's Core 2 Duo is easily the best mobile processor on the market today, boasting sky-high performance and low power consumption. But which CPU is for you: the super expensive T7600, the bargain-priced T5500, or something in between?
This article will first take a look at the various versions of Core 2 Duo that Intel has to offer. We will compare Core 2 Duo clocked at four speed grades: 2.33GHz, 2.16GHz, 2GHz, and 1.83GHz in a variety of benchmarks and let you know how to get your best bang for the buck.
Note: We will refer to a Core 2 Duo “T7000multiple times in this article. We were unable to get a Merom sample with 2MB L2 cache, thus we lowered the clock speed of our 4MB L2 model to 1.83GHz to perform near that of the T5600 (1.83GHz, 2MB L2 cache), resulting in our unofficial “T7000nomenclature.
The Core 2 Duo Processor
Intel has two lines of Core 2 Duo processors: notebook and desktop. Core 2 Duo for notebooks is codenamed Merom, while Core ...
