NOT FOR NEWER IPODS2008-08-01
This WILL NOT WORK with an ipod video or a iphone or an ipod touch ( I tried it with all) I bought this to charge my iphone and it seemed like it had the correct attachment, however the other end is firewire which WILL NOT charge the iphone.....the iphone will say incompatible. I don't know why it matters but it does. Maybe if you have an old black and white ipod this will work
Long Treck Ahead?2008-07-30
Always handy to have if you are playing your i-pod in the car on a long journery or you just forgot the recharge at home!
Excellent2008-04-21
This is exactly what I was looking for, works great!! My dog chewed on the one I got with my iPod originally & had looked for a replacement. This is the only one that worked with my first generation iPod.
Worked ok for a few months.. now doesn't work at all2008-03-23
The charger gives a nag screen each time you plug it in (1G Nano or 1G Video) that is a minor inconvenience, but the real problem is that it has completely stopped working about 4 months after we got it. It shows that it is charging my ipod and then the ipod shows that it is fully charged, but once it is unplugged it dies a few minutes later. The ipod can still be charged from other sources so it's not the ipod's fault. Also, watch out if you turn off/on your car while it is plugged in - on a new car with no other charger problems this seemed to cause my ipod to lock up. Also, not a problem with other chargers. I'm glad we just paid a few dollars for this.
Very handy2008-01-07
This is very handy and works great. The picture doesn't show it but it comes with the cord that plugs into the charger and the ipod so you have everything you need in the car.

Printer Buying Guide
What kind of printer is best for me? Choosing the right printer can be a daunting task. There are several different types of printing technology to choose from, each suited for different needs. Printers come in all shapes and sizes, from tiny travel companions to workgroup workhorses; some are geared toward photographers, others are for multitaskers. And the many specifications for resolution and speed can be misleading. As a rule of thumb, inkjet printers are a must for long-lasting photos, while laser printers are best to produce speedy text documents. User types: Home user | Budding novelist | Digital photographer | Entrepreneur | Corporate cog | Frequent flier Home userĀ  The home user demands a lot from a printer. The device must tackle everything from a book report to a newsletter to the occasional snapshot--all without breaking the budget. This is why for most home users, the best choice is a versatile and affordable printer, such as a small-office/home-office color ...
Digital cameras are good for the environment
As we consider the digital camera revolution that has taken place over the last decade, most people think about it in terms of enhanced benefits for consumers. We can take a lot more pictures at much lower cost with digital cameras versus film cameras. We can also more easily manipulate and share those photos since they're all in the digital realm. But one thing many people don't think about actually deserves mention as potentially the most profound effect of the digital camera revolution: how digital cameras greatly reduce the destructive impact on the environment compared to film cameras. At first, you might think, "How can that be? My film camera didn't harm the environment!" Even though it wasn't your camera that harmed the environment, your film processing did indeed harm it. Any time you take your pictures to a photo processing center, that film is run through batches of chemicals. These chemicals are environmental hazards, and once they are used to process film, those chem ...
