Very fast charger, but just a little bit more compact that the included one
2008-12-12I bought this for my Sony T700 digital camera.
While this product is advertised as a compact AC adapter, it is not that much better than the included one. The included one is flatter, making a bigger "plate", while this one is taller and give it a little bit more squarish shape. I think the overall volume is probably a little bit smaller, but when packing I found stuff that is either shaped like a plate/book/paper or like a stick much easier to pack than a square object.
On the other hand, the fast charging functionality definitely work as advertised and it really cuts down the charging time to about half of the original one.
Overall, I think this is a decent product. Do consider whether the square shape really helps you pack before purchase.

Just what I expected
2007-09-12This Sony charger is exactly what I needed to replace the one I had lost. Works great just like I expected it to.

Excellent charger - quick, easy & convenient
2007-08-27We really like this charger. It is small and light, easy to use (no cords) and quick charging --- perfect for home or travel. My husband uses his digital camera for business, we are grandparents and we love to travel so we need to be sure our batteries are always charged. We have two of the same cameras so we just ordered a second of these chargers for travel. Now we can charge all of our batteries guickly for the next day's sightseeing. And also my husband will have his own charger for business trips.

Just what I wanted
2007-06-07I needed a small travel charger to take along and this one is working great! It was just what I wanted. I would recommend this product. It also chargers the battery quickly compared to my other charger.

Sony Charger
2006-08-15This is a very good item because it is easier to use and charges faster than the one that came with the camera.
It really makes me wonder why Sony doesn't furnish this charger originally with the camera.
The only factor that I can think of is that when it charges faster than the one furnished with the camera is that it shortens the battery life.- Just a thought.

The mini DV camcorder is easier to take with you than the regular sized cameras such as the hi definition camcorder, or the hi-Res camcorder. The size of this camcorder is one of its big advantages. The features this camcorder can offer are also great. Some cameras offer more features than others, so make sure that the camera has the features you want.

Generally when design, performance and technological improvements are made on electronic products there is a reduction in size as well to make them more compact.
For example the early day radios were built in large cabinets and required radio vacuum tubes. Eventually, transistor radios were constructed and were more portable. Today, a radio can be as small as a wristwatch.

Camera basics: shutter-speed, aperture and ISO
In this article, I’ll introduce you to the basic elements that you can use to control exposure in your shooting. If you have a digital SLR, there will be a way to set all of these controls on your camera, but since they differ between manufacturers and models, you’ll need to refer to your camera’s manual to find out exactly how to change them.
All cameras, whether an ancient film camera, or a more modern digital, work in pretty much the same way. Photographs are taken by letting light fall onto a light-sensitive medium, which records the image. Traditionally, this has been film, but more recently, it tends to be a digital sensor. The more light that falls onto the film or sensor, the lighter the image.
Put simply, a camera consists of a light-tight box that stores a light-sensitive device (either a film or a digital sensor), a lens that magnifies and focuses the image onto that light-sensitive device through a hole in the box (called the aperture) , and a shutter that opens ...
