Not easy to setup, but easy to maintain.2010-07-13
Once setup the system works well. I'm using it on a USB printer in an office setting for one of our printers. To allow a new user to print on this printer we need to install the printer locally, and then change the port settings to allow the user access... its "OK" but probably not a turn key solution for anyone without a decent amount of IT experience.
Great Print Server - Windows 7 compatible2010-06-14
This print server is compatible with Windows 7. You can print from as many computers, wired or wireless, that are on the same network as the print server. Setup may be complicated for newbies. I had to do some research to help me, as my refurbished print server didn't come with a CD, and I'll pass along some useful links (from the netgear site).

I'm very happy with the print server - it works flawlessly once set up.
Of no use2010-05-26
Cannot get this device to work with Windows 7. I guess it us just too old and the drivers are incompatible.
Worked Great with XP. Watch out with Windows 72010-03-08
This product has remained in a drawer since I brought it home. It did not work with Windows 7 and Netgear did not appear to be working on fixing new drivers. Multiple posting on the net proved I was not the only one with this problem and complaint. Recently, some people have begun to post encouraging solutions, so I will try those next. If they work, I still won't change my review because Netgear seemed deaf to the problem for so long.
wont work2010-02-08

Printer Buying Guide
What kind of printer is best for me? Choosing the right printer can be a daunting task. There are several different types of printing technology to choose from, each suited for different needs. Printers come in all shapes and sizes, from tiny travel companions to workgroup workhorses; some are geared toward photographers, others are for multitaskers. And the many specifications for resolution and speed can be misleading. As a rule of thumb, inkjet printers are a must for long-lasting photos, while laser printers are best to produce speedy text documents. User types: Home user | Budding novelist | Digital photographer | Entrepreneur | Corporate cog | Frequent flier Home userĀ  The home user demands a lot from a printer. The device must tackle everything from a book report to a newsletter to the occasional snapshot--all without breaking the budget. This is why for most home users, the best choice is a versatile and affordable printer, such as a small-office/home-office color ...
Digital cameras are good for the environment
As we consider the digital camera revolution that has taken place over the last decade, most people think about it in terms of enhanced benefits for consumers. We can take a lot more pictures at much lower cost with digital cameras versus film cameras. We can also more easily manipulate and share those photos since they're all in the digital realm. But one thing many people don't think about actually deserves mention as potentially the most profound effect of the digital camera revolution: how digital cameras greatly reduce the destructive impact on the environment compared to film cameras. At first, you might think, "How can that be? My film camera didn't harm the environment!" Even though it wasn't your camera that harmed the environment, your film processing did indeed harm it. Any time you take your pictures to a photo processing center, that film is run through batches of chemicals. These chemicals are environmental hazards, and once they are used to process film, those chem ...
