Epson quality is first rate
2010-01-06You can't beat using the right Epson products if you have an Epson printer. Some people don't like that you can't use cheap refills, but if you want great photos, spend the money. It's still cheaper than processing at a store with film.

Ink is just expensive
2009-08-25It's how the printer companies really make their money. I cringe that it costs me $120 to replace all of my ink cartridges on my Epson R1800 and I never get as many prints as I think I should. A necessity for sure, there is no way around buying these things, I just wish they were a little cheaper. The quality of the inks are very good though and the prints I get from the R1800 are outstanding.

A must-have for glossy photos
2008-10-11The gloss optimizer is the perfect last step when printing your photos on high gloss Epson paper. It protects the image and maintains a consistent sheen.

Best prices for ink
2008-02-15I've tried "compatible" ink cartridges and the results are often poor, wasting money and ink. I've also had compatible cartridges leak ink all over the desk. I only use genuine Epson cartridges and Amazon has the lowest prices and fastest delivery. Free super-saver freight keeps the costs low (so make sure they are being sold by Amazon.com and not another vendor selling through Amazon.com).

Compatible with the Epson R800 and R1800 photo printers
2007-03-26When it comes to ink for my R1800 photo printer, I am concerned with the quality of the images I print. The Epson gloss optimizer UltraChrome Hi-Gloss ink cartridge provides superior resistance to water, fading and smudging. It is important to me that my prints are of high quality, so I don't attempt to use the cheaper compatible ink cartridges. The color can be duplicated, but all inks are not created equal. Third party options may produce a good print initially, but may not hold up or last as long.
PROS:
Provides superior resistance to water, fading and smudging

Core 2 Duo Scaling
Laptop Scaling
Intel's Core 2 Duo is easily the best mobile processor on the market today, boasting sky-high performance and low power consumption. But which CPU is for you: the super expensive T7600, the bargain-priced T5500, or something in between?
This article will first take a look at the various versions of Core 2 Duo that Intel has to offer. We will compare Core 2 Duo clocked at four speed grades: 2.33GHz, 2.16GHz, 2GHz, and 1.83GHz in a variety of benchmarks and let you know how to get your best bang for the buck.
Note: We will refer to a Core 2 Duo “T7000multiple times in this article. We were unable to get a Merom sample with 2MB L2 cache, thus we lowered the clock speed of our 4MB L2 model to 1.83GHz to perform near that of the T5600 (1.83GHz, 2MB L2 cache), resulting in our unofficial “T7000nomenclature.
The Core 2 Duo Processor
Intel has two lines of Core 2 Duo processors: notebook and desktop. Core 2 Duo for notebooks is codenamed Merom, while Core ...
