Excellent2008-08-25
The superyard does exactly what I wanted it to do i.e. keep my 10 month grandchild in a safe place where he can play with his toys and still be with the family.
Simple and effective2008-08-15
The product is quite simple to install and very effective. The baby had enough playroom within but it does not fall over and injure anyone. The only issue I face is storing it upright. It would have been good if we had something to tie it on both ends.
Great Purchase2008-08-13
This Gate was purchased to keep my Yorki confined after having Knee Surgery. What a great purchase, they are durable, easy to manuver and fold away for storage. My pup had a small amount of freedom, he and I were so happy that we did not have to keep him locked into a small "confined" cage for 3 months. I purchased 2 gates-1 for inside the home and 1 for outside. Our yorkie really likes his pen and the freedom it provides, I also could sit in with him to spend time playing. I recommend these gates for small dogs, what a great purchase!!!
AWESOME2008-07-31
This is the perfect item for keeping our little crawling 9 month old safe when you have to leave the room for a few minutes. Much bigger than expected, very sturdy! Worth the price and yes it's cheaper here than on other sites. HINT, keep socks on your baby and they can't crawl up the walls LOL
Great for children and for climbers too.2008-07-26
My twins are one year old. After reading mixed reviews (and many of good ones from dog owners), I was not sure if this play yard was appropriate for children, but I could not find an affordable alternative, so I went ahead and purchased it. Now I have to say, I am very pleased with it. It is very sturdy and with textured mats underneath it is very hard for babies to move it around. It is perfect height as my babies cannot climb out of it (one of my boys already attempted, but was not able to, thanks to diamond shape openings) but I can climb in and out without much effort. It is large enough for twins, even without the extension panels. And, to my surprise, I like how it looks (I would prefer colored panels and was considering Little Playzone for this reason, but realized it has many problems - small parts to choke on, small size without extensions, more expensive). With colorful mats and toys inside it looks like a nice playpen for children. I am glad I bought it and highly recommend if you are not sure.

You and Your Newborn Baby: a guide to the first months after birth
Regardless of whether labor is long or short, whether it is hard or easy whether a baby is born vaginally or by cesarean, most parents recall the first hours and days after birth as crystal-clear images surrounded by haze. It is in this haze that you first take in your baby and make a giant leap from pregnancy to parenting. Despite all the anticipatory parenting done before conception and during pregnancy, despite weeks of feeling movement within and fantasizing about your baby, despite months of having strange dreams, worrisome thoughts, and musings about what kind of parent you will be, the first time you hold your baby in your arms and call yourself mother or father, mama or papa, mommy or daddy, an awareness floods over you that life will never be the same again. Another human being is now dependent upon you for survival. More than anything else, you want to be the best parent possible. Your awareness of your baby's dependency and your desire to be a good parent will together ...
Guidelines For The Nursing Mother
SINCE THE BEGINNING OF HUMANKIND, WOMEN HAVE PUT THEIR INFANTS TO BREAST.. Extending the physical bond that begins at conception, they have nourished and protected their young with their bodies. These tender moments, in return, have brought pleasure and fulfillment to the task of mothering. If you are now pregnant, you are probably looking forward to the time in which you will nourish, comfort, and protect your child in the same way as others before you--at the breast. Perhaps you already feel committed to the idea of nursing. For you, there is no question that you'll breastfeed your baby. Or perhaps, like many women, you have some uncertainties, but still feel it's worth a try. Your outlook depends on many things--the value you place on breastfeeding, how your partner feels about it, how your friends have fed their babies, your lifestyle, your feelings about yourself and your body. You probably also have som ...
