Ehhh
2008-09-15It made my face break out. Not thrilled. I love all the other Bare Escentuals products so I was really disappointed.

Clearing up blackheads on my nose and cheeks
2008-09-08I have only used this product twice, and I already notice a difference in how my skin looks. I do not have acne. I am 46, and I tend to get blackheads on my nose and cheeks, and this seems to be cleaning them out, and my large pores look like they are disappearing.
It is lightweight, and it feels good, and frankly, I did NOT notice an unusual smell like some others have commented. Maybe my sniffers just not that good! I can't wait to see my face in a few days. It hasn't even had time to really work fully yet!!!

This is an exfoliant
2008-08-01The package is terrible at communicating what it is or how to use it. If you read Paula Begoun's cosmetics book, you will see she classifies the Rev-er Upper as a good EXFOLIANT with both AHA and BHA. It's not a moisturizer or a toner and the results are not immediate. You don't want to apply this to your eye area. It came in my BareMinerals starter kit and I've been using it on my blemish-prone T-zone but I think I'm ready to ditch it in favor of a BHA only product. The smell is awful going on but it fades when it dries. And it looks like it's a spray because it is in a pump style bottle but it's just the way the lotion dispenses. One press gives you the right amount for the whole face.

Worst Moisturizer EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2008-07-24I hate this product.
I cannot believe Bare Escentuals made this.
I have combo skin with only occasional breakouts, and this only made my skin worse.
This product smells horrible. If something works well, but doesnt have the greatest smell, I'll use it. Because I know midway thru the day the smell will wear off.
This smell is just gross. It smells kind of like the product went back...and a hint of plastic. NOT what you expect when you shell out for a "higher brand" moisturizer.
And if the smell didn't bother you, your face feeling sticky will. I felt no hydration. It just feels gross.
Also, if you try to put your Bare Minerals makeup on after it, it just sticks on your face. Usually it blends in, but with this product, it makes your makeup looks obvious...which is the opposite of what you want makeup to do.
I NEVER would use this again. Don't waste your money!

I'm sold
2008-04-27It's taken me a number of years to find a face lotion that is just right for my skin type. I admit it's costly (hence the four stars), but for me it's worth the price. I wouldn't say the smell is pleasant either but I got used to it and it goes away quickly. I use it whether I wear makeup or not and would recommend it for those with sensitive skin.

Fashion Trend Alert: Instant Glamour with Red Hot Shoes
It's hot, it's hot...in fact, it's red hot! Add a splash of color to your office suit and winter coat with sexy, bright red shoes. It's the most va-va-voom Hollywood trend this season, and it works perfectly with everything from the little black dress to pencil skirts and even minidresses. Bright red shoes go best with basic black, but you can have fun pairing them with khaki, white, charcoal or bold prints. Just stay away from obvious color clashes like purple. Remember, if it doesn't look good to you, it might look even worse than you think. And please avoid the matching red bag. That would be overkill.
Peep toes, pumps, round toes, accessorized with little bows, satin finish, a little bling with rhinestones for the holidays ‑- there's a red shoe out there for every outfit and every occasion. It's the new style statement, the new red lipstick. So get yourself a pair of racy red pumps today ‑- or maybe you want the slingbacks, or the kitten heels. And then there are the ...
Lucy Liu
Lucy Liu radiates an unfussy, smart-girl kind of glamour. She appears sophisticated
without "working it"; her glam always looks easy. Even when she goes for a little
something outrageous, like the hairpiece, or fall, that she's wearing here, she does it
with smarts, and we think she looks smashing. Follow these steps from hair and makeup
expert Deborah Grayson to get Lucy's glamorous look.
Hair extensions and falls are a great way to add length. Here, Lucy's fall is attached
to the hair at the crown of her head. When you're buying a fall, go with human hair and
match the color and texture of your natural hair. The mark of a good fall is that it lies
flat against the head and looks clean, smooth and shiny so as to blend and swing into the
wearer's remaining natural locks. (If you use human hair extensions, you can color them
to match your hair. Dye them as you would your own hair, or have your colorist do
it.)
