HRM watch
2008-11-17I only use the basic features of this watch, so far, and I love it. I use it for every workout now-- seems very accurate. Very easy to use. Easy to read. Good size for a small wrist. I would recommend it 100%.

Good for what I needed
2008-10-15I have not had any problems with this watch. It is small enough to fit my very small wrist with a hole or two left over. The chest strap is not uncomfortable, once I put it on it can be concealed easily and I don't even notice it. I have never had a problem getting a heart rate. I have not used every function yet but I do enjoy the review portion of the watch in all. I highly recommend this watch to anyone who wants something that is not too expensive, and is very user friendly.

swimmer
2008-10-13We needed to get workout watches for our swimming workouts and this watch has been really great. Everyone else that bought other name brands have been having trouble with their watches but this watch has been running perfect. Would recommend this watch.

As a watch, fine....as a heart rate monitor, a total failure
2008-09-30I've switched it out several times and still found that the heart rate monitor jumps up to 220+ bpm regardless of what I am or am not doing. The company suggested hitting the reset button in the chest strap but that didn't work either. If you want a watch, it's fine, but it has been completely inconsistent as a heart rate monitor. I am looking for a new one now.

Accurate, useable, and attractive
2008-09-30This HRM is a great little tool- it's pretty accurate as long as you keep the electrode moist, the user interface is reasonably navigable, and the watch is actually the same size as a regular watch (unlike many HRMs which are HUGE). It's an easy way to monitor the intensity of your workouts. Also quite waterproof- I've worn it in the pool while working out. It's not as accurate in the water, but it survived prolonged immersion just fine. The soft chest strap is pretty comfortable, and the small size of the watch while maintaining the readability of the numbers on the face make this a great product.

Driving with a cell phone is a lot less dangerous than driving on prescription drugs
There's a lot of debate today about the safety of using cell phones while driving. Statistics show that those who use cell phones while driving cause a much greater percentage of accidents than those who avoid using their cell phones. And the studies have shown that it's not just the physical coordination required to punch numbers into the cell phone while you're trying to work the vehicle that causes accidents; it's actually the lack of attention resulting from driving and talking on the cell phone at the same time. It seems that when you're distracted, you're more likely to cause accidents.
In terms of public safety, it's probably correct to say that banning cell phones would reduce the number of traffic accidents. But I think, more accurately, it depends on the person. Some people are operating on, shall we say, lower power CPUs in their heads to begin with. They might be zoned out on prescription drugs, and when you add a cell phone to the equation, they do become a danger to the ...
