Keep 'Em Safe & Clean2010-02-24
Since almost all of my photography is done outdoor in less than perfect conditions, keeping all the components of my camera clean is an issue. This solidly built accessory is a great solution to keeping my CF cards clean, safe and organized. It is also MUCH better than fumbling around with the plastic boxes the CF cards are sold in. While CF cards are easily replaced if damaged--the content on them isn't. Don't take a chance on losing that perfect and soon to be world famous photograph and don't even think twice about buying this great and relatively inexpensive accessory!
no frills case . . .2010-02-05
This aluminum case has rubber inserts molded to accept CF cards, and should provide good general protection. The fit is tight, so the cards won't fall out, and there are provisions that allow for easy removal. The case appears to be dirt, dust, and moisture resistant, but is definitely not waterproof. It should withstand normal wear and tear, but probably won't stand up well to hard direct impact. There is play in the hinge, which means that the two faces of the case can slide, and not always seat properly. The covers are held closed by a metal clip, and it is a little hard to pry open the case with just one hand, and quickly access the cards.

This case does an adequate job, but is rather plain looking, has a kind of a `cheapie' feel. Hakuba and Pelican, make cases that are more stylish.
Works well, but ...2010-01-17
I wanted to try another CF holder, i have the "Vanguard DI Holder 6 Plastic Memory Card Holder" and works better than this for the following reasons:

* It close better, i mean, it have a kind of a botton than close better than this aluminum case
* The rubber part (The one that holds the CF) is well attached to the case, so when you remove de CF it wont come out.

I regret to try another item, so i have to fix to the Aluminum one:

* Bent the little part so it close better
* Glue the rubber part.

Conclusion:

NOT BUT THIS ONE, BUY the "Vanguard DI Holder 6 Plastic Memory Card" (http://www.amazon.com/Vanguard-DI-Holder-Plastic-Memory/dp/B00026C9II/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1263756478&sr=8-1)
Love it2010-01-07
I bought 2 and they are the perfect sulution for storing my CF cards in my camera bag. I can tell with a lot of use the rubber inside may start to come out of the case but little bit of glue would fix that. Only one of mine even looks like that might be an issue in the future.

These are the perfect way to protect your cards and carry 4 in one place!
Durable and stylish case for CF card users2009-10-08
Great case, very durable and stylish. I would recommend to anyone looking for a long lasting product that works.

Digital cameras are good for the environment
As we consider the digital camera revolution that has taken place over the last decade, most people think about it in terms of enhanced benefits for consumers. We can take a lot more pictures at much lower cost with digital cameras versus film cameras. We can also more easily manipulate and share those photos since they're all in the digital realm. But one thing many people don't think about actually deserves mention as potentially the most profound effect of the digital camera revolution: how digital cameras greatly reduce the destructive impact on the environment compared to film cameras. At first, you might think, "How can that be? My film camera didn't harm the environment!" Even though it wasn't your camera that harmed the environment, your film processing did indeed harm it. Any time you take your pictures to a photo processing center, that film is run through batches of chemicals. These chemicals are environmental hazards, and once they are used to process film, those chem ...
