Panavise = A+ Support!2010-03-17
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/RU4O2YP0UBIZN Hey everyone! I know a lot of people like the Panavise 809, but some people have ripped on it because it doesn't include an extension arm. When I received mine, it worked very well even without the extension arm, but I had to invert (180 degrees) my video in software. Well, the *real* solution lies in Panavise's EXCELLENT support! I called up their support number (775-850-2900), and mentioned to the operator that I was calling about a CCTV mount (the 809 model). She forwarded me to someone else, who was a VERY kind woman named Julie; After describing my dilemma, Julie nicely explained to me that Panavise was working on including the extension arm in future, but that she could send me the extension arm. She quickly took down my name and address, and told me that it would be on its way tomorrow!!

Panavise is an EXCELLENT company! The 809 CCTV mount is GREAT! The price is GREAT! The quality is GREAT! Thank you, Panavise (and Julie, if you're reading this), for being so amazingly awesome! You have made me a very happy, satisfied customer!
Panavise 809 Camera Mount2010-03-15
Great product. It did not come with the extension but it was quickly resolved soon after calling the manufacturing company which were very helpful and sent the extension asap.
Great product...2010-02-26
Excellent product! Sticks to the window that I need it to stick to very well and securely. At the first joint (suction cup end), it is notched so it "clicks" at different angles (not continuous). For me, it is great since less chance of slipping. The more minute adjustments can be done at the ball joint at the other end of the arm.

I received the genuine Panavise product. So, I called the company to get the extension arm. The extension arm is NOT included in the box; I need to call the company to get it. The Customer Service Representative was very courteous asked for the Patent Number on the product. They shipped the extension arm at no cost at all.

Great company standing behind their product!!!

I wouldn't make a single change to this device. It holds strongly at seemingly any speed (have tested it outside the car and motorcycle at up to 80mph), is very easily adjustable, construction feels bulletproof, and it doesn't even block the memory card door on my compact camera when it's mounted. For less than $20 it's a steal.
solid and superb value2010-02-13
This mount is well engineered, can hold an SLR in place and is made of solid plastic and screws. Panavise stands behind the product and offers accessories for different size cameras and applications. It is lot of fun to film stuff, just don't get distracted while driving after buying it! Drive safe out there.

A Quick Look At the Professional Digital Camcorder
Introduction Professional digital camcorders are better than your analog camcorder, or even your digital video camera. The advancements that have been made in the camcorder industry are amazing. Just like everything else they keep getting more and more advanced, and shrinking in size. Even though we have seen much advancement, the price keeps getting more and more affordable. Professionals are not the only ones who can now enjoy the wonderful benefits of a professional -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A professional digital camcorder allows creativity and quality to meet, and the cost is far lower than it was only a few years ago. Even in the late 1990's most professionals were using Betamax professional quality analog recorders, though the professional digital camcorder was starting to come into its own back then. In 1997 at a press conference in Roswell, New Mexico during the 50th anniversary of the historic alleged UFO crash ...
Professional video camera
A Professional video camera (often called a Television camera even though the use has spread) is a high-end device for recording electronic moving images (as opposed to a movie camera, that records the images on film). Originally developed for use in television studios, they are now commonly used for corporate and educational videos, music videos, direct-to-video movies, etc. There are two types of professional video cameras: High end portable, recording cameras (essentially, high-end camcorders) used for ENG and EFP image acquisition, and studio cameras which lack the recording capability of a camcorder, and are often fixed on studio pedestals. Portable professional cameras are generally much larger than consumer cameras and are designed to be carried on the shoulder. Technology It is common for professional cameras to split the incoming light into the three primary colors that humans are able to see, feeding each color into a separate pickup tube (in older cameras) or charge ...
