Disappointment2010-03-04
Very disappointed in the overall performance. It could be the batteries rather than the charger. They do not hold a charge very well.
Took 2 heavy duty batteries in a comparison test and I found that they lasted longer than my Sony batteries (fully charged). Sure it saves on the cost of replacing batteries but it is sad when I need to carry the extra set of 2 along as I know my device will need them before too long.
Not exactly a fast charger2010-02-27
Be carefull! this charger is not a fast charger. I have an Enegizer 15 min-chager and it works better, if you are looking for speed. Anyway the Sony charger is a good one if need just a bettery charger.
Like this battery charger2010-02-18
Independent circuits and status readout are worth having!

No problems with batteries or the charger after 10 months.

I wish it was a little *slower*. The batteries get a little hot and maybe it's not good for them.

I also wish they bundled Low-Self-Discharge batteries with this premium quality charger instead of ordinary NiMH batteries.
Don't Hold Up2010-02-16
To be fair, it may not be the fault of this particular product, but a characteristic of rechargeable batteries in general. At first, the batteries were real champions. Now, after about a year, they can't hold a charge for 24 hours and are quickly exhausted in the camera. I have no way of telling whether the fault lies with the charger or with the batteries. In any case, it's back to nonrechargeable batteries for me.
Doesn't seem to charge much2010-02-07
So far I'm not able to charge the batteries that came with it. They warn you that you need to fully decharge the batteries before charging them, which I did using their "reset" function. But despite that, I still get half charged batteries. Also I find it very slow to charge the batteries. I'll probably send it back.

Audio & Video Connections Guide
" For a list of all the ways technology has failed to improve the quality of life, please press three." - Alice Kahn This quote is certainly applicable to consumer electronics. From the very first commercially produced radios to the latest in high-definition television technology, the manner in which the components used to deliver our news, music, movies and entertainment are interconnected seems to have escaped logic. For both the newcomer and the old hand alike, connecting equipment in the most efficient and effective manner can be a painful chore. It is hoped this article will improve your background knowledge concerning potential A/V system connection schemes and where each is most appropriate. The next time you find yourself in a "connectivity quandary" perhaps the ideas shared here will help you to quickly solve the riddle of which wire goes where and why! In this article, we'll lead you step-by-step through some of the issues to consider in making a purchase decision, and at the same time, suggest some things to look for in the test images we've collected on our website. We're interested in your feedback and experience! We invite you to elaborate on this article by leaving comments via the database link at the bottom of the page.
