Great Phone but so-so service
2008-08-06The phone and the phone's service are fairly decent. I have long battery life along with full bars but may the force be with you if you need to talk to a service representative. It amazes me how so-called service companies appear to have forgotten why they are in business. Verizon is down there with the other mediocre ones but only if you have to talk with someone and especially at off hours.

Worst ever service
2007-09-04They kept my order on hold without notifying me for a month, even after so many followups !

You're in a contract, Verizon isn't
2007-06-14Just so you know, Verizon can/will change the terms of the contract without letting you out of the contract (i.e. raising the price of text messages) You have to pay more, it doesn't change your contract, you still have the early termination fee.
Also, Verizon customer service reps are about the least helpful I've ever dealt with

2006-11-10I'm satisfied with the plan. The reception is perfect and so far, I haven't had any problem with it.

Great reception, but customer service problems
2005-10-14It was very easy to set up my verizon service (and as I already knew, there's great reception in the San Francisco area). However, I was surprised when I received my first bill to see that I was charged for service from the day that I ordered my phone, not the day that my service was activated (ie the day a week later when I acatually received my phone). I called customer service and they didn't do anything to help. Very frusterating
