Spicy!
2008-11-16I love cinnamon, and this bar doesn't disappoint. Strong flavors of clove and cardamon, sweet cinnamon and hints of brown sugar make this bar a favorite for a breakfast-on-the-go

Great Deal
2008-11-12This is a great deal! My favorite flavor Luna Bars is Chocolate Mint. Having them sent with the automatic delivery is great because I always have them on hand and pay the best price anywhere. The no shipping charge is an added bonus.

A Little too Sweet, but Still Tastey
2008-11-11These bars are a little too sweet for my tastes, but everything else about them is great. They satisfy my afternoon hunger when I've forgotten to bring fruit with me.
The Chocolate Pecan Pie flavor is my favorite-- chocolate with pecan pie spices. If you're unsure about what flavor to try, chocolate pecan pie and chocolate peppermint stick are two you can't go wrong with.

Convenient and relatively yummy
2008-11-10I got this because it was vitamin fortified for women and I wanted something to easy to bring with me for breakfast. While it is actually pretty good tasting for when hungry, I'm not sure that I would be able to eat that many of them. I still think the PowerBar tastest better.

Luna Berry Almond bar
2008-11-09I purchased a box of Luna Berry Almond bars. While they were tasty, the consistency was very sticky and the wrapper was hard to peel away from the bar.

acromegaly
A condition that occurs when the pituitary gland produces too much growth hormone. In adults,
this can cause overgrowth of bones that occurs in smaller bones, such as those in the jaw, hands
and feet. In children or teenagers, this can cause giantism.
Sensory Integration and Self Stimulatory Behavior
Determining which sensory integration activities should be used depends on the individual's needs. Basically, either the individual's sensory system is hypoactive or hyperactive. The hypoactive system will seek out input while the hyperactive system will seek to block input.
The necessity of replacing self stimulatory behaviors to regulate sensory input is great. Prompting the child to cease the self stims without providing another outlet will only lead to the child's finding another way of addressing this valuable need.
In some cases an autistic individual may turn the behavior inward. This can lead to self stimulatory behaviors like regurgitation and swallowing. This behavior often goes unnoticed and it not redirected and the individual gets his necessary stimulation in the process.
