SkinCeuticals Retinol 1.0 - 1 oz
Product Description:
Perfect for problematic and photo-damaged skin, Retinol 1.0 contains 1% pure retinol, the highest concentration currently available, and should be used for advanced treatment of pre-conditioned skin. Designed for maximum efficacy and stability, SkinCeuticals Retinol is formulated with highest concentrations of pure retinol available and enhanced with the latest stabilization and delivery technologies. Our retinol products help stimulate cell regeneration and build collagen to diminish the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots from both photo- and intrinsic- aging. Additionally, they help minimize the appearance of pore size, while correcting blemishes and blotchiness often associated with problematic skin. Limit initial use to once or twice a week; gradually increase frequency to every other night, and finally each evening as tolerated. Peeling is normal and will subside over time, although stinging and erythema are not. Discontinue use of the product for a few days if any symtom of discomfort persists for a prolonged period. To ensure optimal results, wait as least 30 minutes before applying any corrective or moisturizing products the same evening as applying SkinCeuticals Retinol.

It really works!
2008-09-09I am pretty skeptical of "anti-aging" products, but after doing some research I decided to give this a try. I am only 27, but after working in smoky bars and getting my share of the sun, I have smile lines and little wrinkles around my eyes. I've been using this product for a couple of weeks now and I definitely see results. My smile lines have almost disappeared, and overall my skin looks younger. You do need to exercise caution and use this stuff SPARINGLY, otherwise your skin will be red and flaky for a day or two. I apply it do different areas of my face on alternating days and that seems to do the trick.

Highes OTC retinol strength product
2008-05-22Made my skin red, peeled for a few days during the first week. I went from applying the product every other night for the first 2 weeks, then went up to applying it nightly.
Good product. A little dab goes a long way.

very effective!
2007-12-25This product made my skin look better and smoother. Gave my complexion the Pink look.

Works almost too well!
2007-08-12I had read in PREVENTION magazine about this product. It has the strongest % of retinal available over the counter. It does work very well...my skin was pink and tingly after one night. My mistake was using it three nights in a row. Skin became dry, peeling and puffy around the eys. Suggest only using over night and only once a week to see how your skin reacts to retinal.

good product at adecent price
2007-03-08If you want Retinol at a decent price, get this product. It's great.
