Best shave I ever had
2008-04-20You simply have to try this stuff! I tried it because I heard that some good, quality shaving soap would clear up razor burn and help with in-grown hairs and it's true. Just get a decent brush (don't spend too much on it - I spent $3.50 on a boar hair brush) and you're good to go. If you get the amount of water just right you'll find that the lather is better than any of the regular shave creams or foams or gels you can get down at the drug store. Plus, this doesn't have as much impact on the environment. I'm sick to death of plastic packages and cans of shave cream that don't always get recycled. This tub of soap comes in a little plastic container but lasts forever and you can recycle it at the end. I do wish it came in a paper or metal or glass container. I've used it every day for two months and I've only gone through about 3mm out of the 4cm deep bar.
Get the aftershave too. It's great stuff.

shaving soap
2007-11-21Handy item, good lather with a brush, doesn't irritate my skin, I like the almond scent.

Great for air travel
2007-07-02We originally bought Colonel Conk shaving soap when liquid, gel or cream toiletries were suddenly not allowed in carry-on luggage onboard airplanes. We bought a shaving brush to go with it and my husband was really pleased with the result. Nice lather with a pleasant fragrance.
My husband flies very frequently, and when he's shaving at home he still sometimes uses the canned shaving gel, but even though toiletries under 3oz are allowed on airplanes these days he continues to carry Colonel Conk with him on the road instead of shaving gel or cream. I'd estimate he uses it about 4-5 days a week and at that rate one tub has lasted many months.

One of the most important aspects of fibromyalgia treatment is regular, low impact exercise. It is crucial to keep the muscles and joints moving and working properly. Other treatments include antidepressants to regulate neurotransmitters and to aid in sleep. Many have also found relief in massage, acupuncture, and supplements, such as colostrum, which boost the immune system and can aid the body in regeneration of damaged muscle and joint tissue.

manage symptoms of non-life-limiting conditions, such as rheumatoid arthritis.
The goal of palliative care is to help people maintain comfort and quality of
life, regardless of whether their disease is curable. Based on your
preferences, palliative care may be combined with other treatments to prolong
your life or to cure your condition.
At the end of life, care may be given at home or in a hospital or
nursing home. You may also choose to receive care through
hospice, which provides palliative care and emotional
and spiritual support for people who are in the late stages of a terminal
illness. Your doctor can continue to direct your care and guide you to o ...
