Good radio2008-11-03
I like a radio I can see in the middle of the night without my glasses on; the numbers on this radio are huge. It is also a simple clock with few buttons to hit and no wasted options. Great buy.
Nice clock2008-10-15
My wife is very pleased with the alarm clock radio.

Nice product, fine service.
Junk2008-10-06
Why, in this day and age, would Sony create a device like that that clocks from the AC phase? I wanted a simple clock with bright display and battery backup. I'm using it in Japan with 50Hz mains, and of course the darn thing is losing huge amounts of time. I expect the clock from mains phase is why it is keeping such bad time for other reviewers too.

I do not recommend this product.
Just perfect for my 6th grader daughter!2008-07-30
She loves it!

My daughter really likes the large green-number display, the thin/tall size, and the ease with which she can set the time and alarm. It can set two separate alarms (radio and buzzer), which will be helpful come school time. And the radio does manage to pull in the "right" radio stations.

My daughter's only complaint: the case doesn't come in a Green color.
I loved it!2008-07-15
I bought this product as a gift for my mother. I loved it and I will buy one for me.

It basically shows that you are willing and able to keep up-to-date on the newest and most technologically advanced devices, and that you are interested in maintaining an electronically advanced network system. Driving with a cell phone is a lot less dangerous than driving on prescription drugs
There's a lot of debate today about the safety of using cell phones while driving. Statistics show that those who use cell phones while driving cause a much greater percentage of accidents than those who avoid using their cell phones. And the studies have shown that it's not just the physical coordination required to punch numbers into the cell phone while you're trying to work the vehicle that causes accidents; it's actually the lack of attention resulting from driving and talking on the cell phone at the same time. It seems that when you're distracted, you're more likely to cause accidents. In terms of public safety, it's probably correct to say that banning cell phones would reduce the number of traffic accidents. But I think, more accurately, it depends on the person. Some people are operating on, shall we say, lower power CPUs in their heads to begin with. They might be zoned out on prescription drugs, and when you add a cell phone to the equation, they do become a danger to the ...
