Good for 3 years and then it broke.
2008-11-20I was very happy with the unit for several years, until the pivot where the TV comes down loosened up and eventually, detached.
I took the unit down and opened it up an saw that the pivot mechanism attaches the screen to the unit with four little screws. If I would have tightened that screw in time , everything would have been fine. But when the screen detached, it must have put too much force on the wires and now there is sound but no picture.

love it!
2008-06-11I am a middle aged woman. I installed this unit myself under the corner cabinet in my kitchen. I love it. It works beautifully and I use it almost daily. I have a smaller kitchen and can see it from anywhere in the kitchen and the sound is wonderful!

Great Under cabinet TV
2007-08-09Excellent product! I was glad to read about the warning regarding narrow Kitchen cabinets. With a little engenuity, you can still mount on the narrower kitchen cabinets as was necessary for me. You can either submount on a subplate which will project the TV slighly further out from the wall or build into the wall a small cavity (such as an electrical gang box) to accomodate/house the connecting wires.

BEST MOTHER'S DAY GIFT!
2007-08-04My husband bought this same model for me and installed it for Mother's Day. It is exactly perfect for me in the kitchen. I can listen to my favorite talk radio or music DVD,watch OPRAH while I'm chopping up the veggies. It has great sound & color quality for watching your fav movie. It took my husband a little longer to install it b/c we had to mount it on an angled corner cabinet where there would be enough space for the LCD-TV monitor to swing down. He bought a refurbished unit and I have had no problems with it. We initially bought a cheap ($150) look alike @wal-mart-but the DVD player was broke and it was returned. My husband went right to Amazon, purchased this SONY and within a few days I was a Happy girl!

I love my little tv!
2007-03-31I love virtually everything about this product. If I am at home, I have it tuned to a local music/news TV station constantly. The sound quality and picture are terrific.
As for installation...I am a 75 year old lady and installing it under my cabinet took all of 25 minutes with no problem.
Based on my experience, my son bought the same TV. He was able to instal his in less than 30 minutes while taking care of his two small kids.
We're not sure what everyone's issue with installation was.

Printer Buying Guide
What kind of printer is best for me?
Choosing the right printer can be a daunting task. There are several different types of printing technology to choose from, each suited for different needs. Printers come in all shapes and sizes, from tiny travel companions to workgroup workhorses; some are geared toward photographers, others are for multitaskers. And the many specifications for resolution and speed can be misleading. As a rule of thumb, inkjet printers are a must for long-lasting photos, while laser printers are best to produce speedy text documents.

Core 2 Duo Scaling
Laptop Scaling
Intel's Core 2 Duo is easily the best mobile processor on the market today, boasting sky-high performance and low power consumption. But which CPU is for you: the super expensive T7600, the bargain-priced T5500, or something in between?
This article will first take a look at the various versions of Core 2 Duo that Intel has to offer. We will compare Core 2 Duo clocked at four speed grades: 2.33GHz, 2.16GHz, 2GHz, and 1.83GHz in a variety of benchmarks and let you know how to get your best bang for the buck.
Note: We will refer to a Core 2 Duo “T7000multiple times in this article. We were unable to get a Merom sample with 2MB L2 cache, thus we lowered the clock speed of our 4MB L2 model to 1.83GHz to perform near that of the T5600 (1.83GHz, 2MB L2 cache), resulting in our unofficial “T7000nomenclature.
The Core 2 Duo Processor
Intel has two lines of Core 2 Duo processors: notebook and desktop. Core 2 Duo for notebooks is codenamed Merom, while Core ...
