Great deal on a new printer
2009-04-11If you are looking for a printer that uses hp96,97 and 99, this is great printer. I paid $70 for a new HP Photosmart 8050 and that included free shipping.

Prints well, jams a lot and one more thing....
2009-02-16Like they said, prints fine, but jams too often. One other thing..you can use it with a usb print server (not included) for network or wireless use, but when the thing jams the message handling does not function properly, especially with Vista. On every jam, I needed to unplug the device from the print server first, then fix the jam. Otherwise the printer will keep saying that it is jammed and the network will keep not seeing the printer. Much to finicky for average user when used with a network connection.

Poor paper feed and frequent paper jams...
2009-02-09When the paper actually feeds properly into the machine, I must say, print quality was very good. The problem is that I have wanted to put this printer through a wall on numerous occasions!!! Either the paper won't feed, it'll feed incorrectly or it'll jam..... Brutal! Currently looking for a new printer... I have seen enough other reviews reporting similar problems to know that mine is not just an isolated incident... steer clear my friends!!!

Cheaper then to fix it? I think it's so many copys & quit!!
2009-02-01It's Kind of Funny. My Printer was only 6 Months Old. It died. Said Check Paper Jam. Funny, It had no paper in it. But the stupid thing Keep saying Clean Your paper tray or Printer Place. Had No peices of paper in it. I'm starting to think that the Mfg. Has a thing like your car. Check Engine Light. It was cheaper to Buy a new One than to get it fixed. But remember don't put it in your Trash. It's a Sin, Oh Fine if you do. Take-it to Goodwill Thrift Store. Than buy it back when Fixed for 1/2 Price. Ya Sure. Thereso darn Cheep Now. I paid $[...] for mine 6 months ago. Now Under $[...] Bucks.

ink lasts a very long time
2008-12-20After 2 years of printing great quality pictures I am finally replacing the ink. Not a single problem with the printer and it is the best one I have ever owned.

Audio & Video Connections Guide
" For a list of all the ways technology has failed to improve the quality of life, please press three." - Alice Kahn
This quote is certainly applicable to consumer electronics. From the very first commercially produced radios to the latest in high-definition television technology, the manner in which the components used to deliver our news, music, movies and entertainment are interconnected seems to have escaped logic. For both the newcomer and the old hand alike, connecting equipment in the most efficient and effective manner can be a painful chore. It is hoped this article will improve your background knowledge concerning potential A/V system connection schemes and where each is most appropriate. The next time you find yourself in a "connectivity quandary" perhaps the ideas shared here will help you to quickly solve the riddle of which wire goes where and why!
