Not Paraben free!!!
2008-08-24I too was in love with this powder until I read the box. It contains several parabens which are compounds widely used in many cosmetic lines. It's a cheap preservative to preserve the products shelf life. Parabens are absorbed through your skin in lotions, powders etc. They have been known to mimick an estogen like effect in your body which plays havick on your endocrine levels which regulate your hormones & thyroid. Recent tests on breast tumors, 20 out of 20 breast tumors tested showed levels of parabens. They do not know why or if there is a link to parabens causing cancer but it prompted them to fund addt'l testing to see if there is in fact a link. I don't know about you but I'm not going to wait to find out. Clinique products are loaded with them. As well as the Olay Renerist line, Estee Lauder & several several others. It may even be used in your mascara. It is in Maybeline great lash, "America's #1 Mascara" Read your labels. Look for Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben & Butylparaben among others. These will be on the bottom of your ingredients listed on cosmetic packaging. Cosmetic companies will continue to use these as preservatives until the FDA confirms the link. Do your own research & educate a friend.

I'm in Love
2005-11-04I have been using this powder for about 5 years. It is amazing. I have problems with red cheeks and breakouts. Once I put on my concealer and foundation, I put on this powder and it is truly what makes my imperfections disappear. It even comes with the perfect application brush. This powder is worth every penny because it does what a powder should do!

While she has confessed to already using anti-aging skin products, she promises she'll never be rail thin and has made her own fashion choices on the red carpet, for better or worse. Step 2: Apply a lightweight moisturizing lotion to the entire face, neck and shoulders. Make sure it's lotion, not cream, recommends Grayson, because t ...
