Great print quality, but a significant problem for casual users
2009-04-07The PictureMate is fast and prints great quality 4x6 photos. It's a great printer, IF you print photos frequently or many at a time.
The problem with the PictureMate is that its nozzles clog unless the unit is used frequently. I sometimes go weeks without printing any photos, and when I try to use the PictureMate, the nozzles are clogged. It can take quite a few attempts to clean them, and in many cases I get an error message indicating that the cartridge needs to be replaced. And it's not just me--this is a frequent problem for PictureMate users (as I discovered when I started "googling" my error messages).
I'm having much better results with a Canon Selphy dye-sublimation printer, but will wait a while before posting my review.

Easy to use fast and efficient
2009-03-02The color is good. The cartridge easy to replace and it has a small footprint.

Still Working Great After 3yrs
2008-12-18For Christmas of 2004, my husband bought me a digital camera to take pictures of the baby we were expecting. I wanted to be able to print the pictures at home, without hooking the camera up to my computer, so I bought this printer.
I've been using it over three years now, and these are the main reasons I like it:
1) prints wallets, 4x6 with borders, and 4x6 without borders
2) you can print a picture index to decide which ones you want to print
3) you can print in color, black and white, or sepia
4) there are over a dozen different cropping options
5) easy menu to choose if you wan to show date, and how you want date shown
6) maintenace menu allows you to clean the inkjets and do a nozzle check in just minutes
7) warns you when you need to replace ink cartridge, so you don't waste printing paper
8) very easy to replace cartridge
I could list a lot of other reasons, but basically this is the printer that I have recommened to friends and family -- especially the ones who have enough trouble just figuring out how to use their cameras.
I also recommend the Epson T5570 PictureMate Print Pack, Glossy.

Not bad at all
2008-12-04Hey, for the price, this is a pretty excellent photo printer. The pictures are sharp, it is easy to use and set up as well.
The only issue is the speed of printing, but that might just be me. I get a little impatient at home because at work I have top of the line color photo printers, so that is not a fair assessment.
Hard to go wrong. I have owned a few Epson printers, this is the first photo printer, and they have all been working fine and usually are at a lower prince than the other brand names.

Great quality great printer for NOPC printing direct from camera
2008-09-21Ready to print on the go?! This is the camera for you. Great for parties and family gatherings where you can just plug your camera into the unit and print away.

The VHS format is the oldest type of camcorder. This type of video camcorder

the video on a VHS VCR system. VHS
