looks great, easy to set up2010-01-27

Very Happy with this product from Elite Screens - sets up and folds down quickly and easily. A bit heavy and bulky to carry, but I found a nylon bag for skis onsale at a sporting goods store that fit it perfectly.
Cheaply made plastic parts. Super expensive to replace!2009-10-28
I bought an Elite Screen about six months ago and used it about once a week at teachings I do. This past weekend a small plastic part that the screen hooks on to up at the top (to adjust the keystone effect) broke. I called Elite Screens to see if I could order a replacement part. I was shocked to find out that they wanted to charge me $35.00 for the part, which seemed a bit expensive, but here's the kicker: They wanted to charge me $20.00 for shipping! This is robbery and very disappointing! They are located in Cerritos, California about an hour north of where I live. It would only cost a few dollars to ship something this small. I'm going to super glue and duct tape the part back on and buy another screen from another manufacturer.
Big Screen2009-07-03
The screen is awesome and easy to setup! Now we can start our "Journey" worship and bible study! God Bless!
Ideal for all levels of presentation...2009-01-12
I bought this last year to go with my projector so that I could present professional-looking educational programs to nurses, patients, the homeschool group i help educate, and anywhere else I may need it...I am very pleased with the product. It is a little tricky to manipulate the whole thing by yourself, but you can do it, and after a while its not so hard anymore... the screen is good quality, and the projected images look clear and very viewable....I would have liked a complete-surround case, as it still needs to be kept in the cardboard packaging box to ensure no damage occurs..thats my only complaint, otherwise great!! Definitely good value for money.
Excellent Screen for the Price2008-10-15
The shipment came without any damage, thanks to the good packaging. I found the screen easy to handle and set up (I was actually impressed at how easy it was), and I tried it with my new Sharp XR-32X projector. The quality of the image on the screen was very good - clear and sharp. I recommend this screen for all business and personal applications, including home theaters.

Core 2 Duo Scaling
Laptop Scaling Intel's Core 2 Duo is easily the best mobile processor on the market today, boasting sky-high performance and low power consumption. But which CPU is for you: the super expensive T7600, the bargain-priced T5500, or something in between? This article will first take a look at the various versions of Core 2 Duo that Intel has to offer. We will compare Core 2 Duo clocked at four speed grades: 2.33GHz, 2.16GHz, 2GHz, and 1.83GHz in a variety of benchmarks and let you know how to get your best bang for the buck. Note: We will refer to a Core 2 Duo “T7000multiple times in this article. We were unable to get a Merom sample with 2MB L2 cache, thus we lowered the clock speed of our 4MB L2 model to 1.83GHz to perform near that of the T5600 (1.83GHz, 2MB L2 cache), resulting in our unofficial “T7000nomenclature. The Core 2 Duo Processor Intel has two lines of Core 2 Duo processors: notebook and desktop. Core 2 Duo for notebooks is codenamed Merom, while Core ...
Driving with a cell phone is a lot less dangerous than driving on prescription drugs
There's a lot of debate today about the safety of using cell phones while driving. Statistics show that those who use cell phones while driving cause a much greater percentage of accidents than those who avoid using their cell phones. And the studies have shown that it's not just the physical coordination required to punch numbers into the cell phone while you're trying to work the vehicle that causes accidents; it's actually the lack of attention resulting from driving and talking on the cell phone at the same time. It seems that when you're distracted, you're more likely to cause accidents. In terms of public safety, it's probably correct to say that banning cell phones would reduce the number of traffic accidents. But I think, more accurately, it depends on the person. Some people are operating on, shall we say, lower power CPUs in their heads to begin with. They might be zoned out on prescription drugs, and when you add a cell phone to the equation, they do become a danger to the ...
