awful printer, awful support
2008-01-14The picture came out pink and grainy. And after several cartridge alignments, I still get the alignment error. And I am still waiting for the response from the customer support.

What a rip off!!
2008-01-12I got this printer because my previous one (Epson) was pulled off the counter and broke..... and because I liked the CD burner. I had read some mixed reviews, but I thought I would try it. I figured it would work okay. Well, I was WAY wrong. I have only owned this thing for 2 months and now it doesn't work at all. I can't even turn it on.
During the 2 months that it was working, I wasn't impressed with the picture quality. It didn't meet the standards I was used to.
I am going back to Epson - I like their printer's so much better!

Cannot read 2GB or larger memory cards
2007-12-14I bought this printer and found out that it would not read my 2GB SD memory card that I use the most. It did read a 1GB SD card though. I contacted Lexmark technical support, and they confirmed that 2GB and larger memory cards will not work, and there is not a fix for the issue. Nothing in the documentation or on their website stated anything about a memory capacity limit. So I am returning the P450 since I need it to read my memory cards.

Not a bad printer for the price
2007-05-06The picture quality is good and prints faster than my previous lexmark photo printer. Having the cd burner in the unit is great for clearing your cards, as well as sharing and backing up your photos. I also love the fact I do not have to be connected to a pc to print or save my photos. Great to take on vacation, especially if you take tons of photos like I do.
The con for me is the photos take time to dry so you can't just set it to print and forget it. The photos will stick to each other.

Great Printer for the price!!!!!
2007-03-14I received this printer 2 days after my initial order...Amazon is just GREAT!!! This printer is a fabulous deal for the money. So many features, you can print pictures via USB jump drive, CDROM drive, camera, memory card, from a cell phone with a Bluetooth adapter. The features are many. The quality of the prints are truly 35 mm quality. You won't find a better deal anywhere!!!!!!

Camera basics: shutter-speed, aperture and ISO
In this article, I’ll introduce you to the basic elements that you can use to control exposure in your shooting. If you have a digital SLR, there will be a way to set all of these controls on your camera, but since they differ between manufacturers and models, you’ll need to refer to your camera’s manual to find out exactly how to change them.
All cameras, whether an ancient film camera, or a more modern digital, work in pretty much the same way. Photographs are taken by letting light fall onto a light-sensitive medium, which records the image. Traditionally, this has been film, but more recently, it tends to be a digital sensor. The more light that falls onto the film or sensor, the lighter the image.
Put simply, a camera consists of a light-tight box that stores a light-sensitive device (either a film or a digital sensor), a lens that magnifies and focuses the image onto that light-sensitive device through a hole in the box (called the aperture) , and a shutter that opens ...

VHS
The VHS format is the oldest type of camcorder. This type of video camcorder
is fast becoming outdated, because you can only play back
the video on a VHS VCR system. VHS

VHS-C
The VHS-C format offer 240 lines of resolution, just like VHS. These analog

the same technology. The video tapes u ...
