Simple and reliable
2009-06-21The mounting system works just as you would expect, or better. The installation process took less than 30 minutes, and it could not be much simpler. I live in a place built in the 1970's, so I have 8' ceilings as was typical of construction at that time. Even with a fairly tall projector, Sharp DT-510, I have more than 7' of clearance under the projector. It was exactly what I needed for my installation.
Bits and Pieces
2009-06-11I read all the reviews on this product and got it anyway. It arrived right on time. Took all the pieces out of the box. All were in a neat package with all sizes in its own case. The instructions were ok but not the best. It didn't take long to figure it out. Spread out all the packages of screws needed and figured out what size we needed. We sized up all our angles and holes. Looked at the pictures and moved all the moving parts around to make the best fit and also enable us to screw all the parts together without any interference. Once we got the projector and bottom parts together it was a simple matter of getting to find out where the studs were in the ceiling, screwing in the two screws to hold the top piece up and fitting the two pieces together. Took us about an hour total. We had the thing up and sat down to watch TV in a very short time. Fabulous. Great piece of equipment. Thanks.

Projector Mount
2009-03-11I have installed a few ceiling mounted projector and this mount is the best one I have seen so far. It is simple to install and well built and priced lower than the competitors versions. The seller has good prompt service. 100% satisfied.
