BT Headset2009-06-20
Very good. Good battery life, nice mini-USB charging port (convenient), decent sound quality on both ends. Just a bit of crackling, not quite as strong as some other bluetooth signals, when arm or body in the path of the headset and device. And perhaps a little annoying that the bluetooth light is so big and prominent. Also, the button may be a little too easy to press, if it's in the pocket or a case, when you don't want it pressed.
Works fine - after you perform surgery on it...2009-06-03
Before you buy this headset, please know you will at some point have to take it apart and fix Motorola's mistake.

I sent this to my father for Father's Day, and was pretty angry that he had to take it apart and remove a piece of rubber/foam that was blocking anyone from hearing his voice.

He synced it up fine to his phone, and he was able to hear whomever he called, but they couldn't hear him - and this was brand new out of the box!

This is NOT an uncommon problem with these headsets, as I quickly found on Google.

However, I was SO thankful to also find a quick solution here: http://www.geocities.com/jconkwright/H700fix.html

Unfortunately, I'm still pretty angry as my dad had to perform surgery on his own gift for it to even work.

I'm only giving it 2 stars b/c it does work now. Thanks a ton Motorola.

After I received the product I thought it was a counterfeit since it did not arrive in the Motorola packaging. However, I closely compared the product to the photos on various website and came to the conclusion that it was genuine. Good quality of sound, but not great quality.
Fantastic sound quality, fit could be better2009-04-26
Having gone through 3 Motorola bluetooth headsets before this one, I wasn't entirely happy with any of those 3 models. This one, however, delivered as promised. I've been using the H700 for about a month now and the sound quality is just superb, it is as good if not better than using the phone itself. No static, no trouble with other people haring me on the phone, no issues whatsoever. One of the best features of this headset is the battery life, the folding microphone thing does wonders, I need to recharge only once a week or so. The only issue with the device is that if I have the headset on my ear for say over an hour, the earloop begins to hurt a little bit so I need to either remove it completely or adjust its position every once in a while. Minor issue, overall very happy with the item.
Still Awesome!2009-02-19
This is my first bluetooth headset. I decided to get one rather than a hands-free car kit (which I have had in the past), as I'm in and out of the car alot and need to use my hands for carrying things other than a phone.

Size: small, fits well on my ear. My husband has a different "ear type", with a smaller lobe, and he states that it fits him well also. He liked it so much, he's buying one as well.

Reception: I've found that if I accidently walk out of a room without my phone, I can actually get down the hallway 15-20 feet or so without hearing a lot of static. Remember the early days of cordless phones? That's what we're talking about when I say "static."

Cost: you won't find a better deal than Amazon. Verizon's selling it for $30-50 more, as is Best Buy at the time of this review.

Power: I have yet to drain this battery. I'm pretty good about just plugging it up with my phone during the night. If you've got a Moto RAZR or BB like I've had, the charger/adaptor is the same. VERY convenient! I've been on the road for 10+ hours for two days with average phone calls and didn't have to charge it.

Conclusion: I'll have to say that I read review and review after review of this model and many others, including Plantronics. This seems to work for me. I was up and running in a matter of minutes. I highly recommend it!

Printer Buying Guide
What kind of printer is best for me? Choosing the right printer can be a daunting task. There are several different types of printing technology to choose from, each suited for different needs. Printers come in all shapes and sizes, from tiny travel companions to workgroup workhorses; some are geared toward photographers, others are for multitaskers. And the many specifications for resolution and speed can be misleading. As a rule of thumb, inkjet printers are a must for long-lasting photos, while laser printers are best to produce speedy text documents. User types: Home user | Budding novelist | Digital photographer | Entrepreneur | Corporate cog | Frequent flier Home user  The home user demands a lot from a printer. The device must tackle everything from a book report to a newsletter to the occasional snapshot--all without breaking the budget. This is why for most home users, the best choice is a versatile and affordable printer, such as a small-office/home-office color ...
Driving with a cell phone is a lot less dangerous than driving on prescription drugs
There's a lot of debate today about the safety of using cell phones while driving. Statistics show that those who use cell phones while driving cause a much greater percentage of accidents than those who avoid using their cell phones. And the studies have shown that it's not just the physical coordination required to punch numbers into the cell phone while you're trying to work the vehicle that causes accidents; it's actually the lack of attention resulting from driving and talking on the cell phone at the same time. It seems that when you're distracted, you're more likely to cause accidents. In terms of public safety, it's probably correct to say that banning cell phones would reduce the number of traffic accidents. But I think, more accurately, it depends on the person. Some people are operating on, shall we say, lower power CPUs in their heads to begin with. They might be zoned out on prescription drugs, and when you add a cell phone to the equation, they do become a danger to the ...
